quote:Yeah, I don’t mind it being edgy, it’s just a miss. I feel like Pete purposely came up with to take a shot for his ideology, as most liberal “comedians” do. It just wasn’t funny. Gillis killed, especially about the Arby’s grill being scraped less that Handlers vagina for abortions.
This is not indicative of this being funny.

I’m good with it. I think Fatu going full maniac is better for his character

There is not a sport that I can think of than professional basketball where to me, coaches are completely irrelevant. College and high school no way, but pros, I feel like a homeless man could have camped out on the sideline and the warriors win those rings.
I feel like one of the things LeBron has ushered in, because coaches like Jackson and others played a part in their systems and such, but today, I do see their relevance at all.

The rise of travel ball has helped, as now attending these games and posting about it has become an accepted part of the culture. Plus MLB hats are huge business in the urban community.

Burrow has way better weapons at his disposal that Marino did, mark Duper & mark clayton don’t compare to Jamar Chase. Marino did it all by himself practically

They are and then they aren’t. A little luck and longevity. I’ve gotten closer each year to 6 figures, but I also don’t have massive stress.

That’s why I don’t worry about that, I left education and teaching and found a gravy sales job. I make more, and keep to myself and my family. I don’t worry about debt, I worry about things that make me comfortable and happy.

Uh guys, I think he meant spend the money in New Orleans and the whole human capital thing, basically go to New Orleans and recruit all those black athletes and keep that area locked in to LSU. I don’t think he meant infrastructure or do good programs for the actual city.

quote:I was not apart or aware of it, I gave no consent or willingness. What I was apart is I felt God calling me out of the church and too somewhere different, where my children can learn Jesus and I can reconnect. I felt none of that in the Catholic faith. The current church in my parish has long been plagued by corruption, political favoritism and entitlement. My wife grew up in a Catholic school and tried to be a model Catholic, only to see priests choose rich kids for activities and positions, people that didn’t even go to church. Again, the problem is the current church structure, creates parishes of obligation and tradition, not saving or enriching the spirit.
It’s against the idea that the first baptism “didn’t count,” so you need to do it over. Baptism isn’t just your statement about God, it’s God acting on you. That’s why Scripture talks about one baptism. If God already did something real there, you don’t redo it, you build on it.
quote:I did that as a teenager out of obligation, I felt nothing.
The Church actually expects that, and that’s what Confirmation is about

I was baptized as an infant, I had no recollection or understanding of God or Jesus Christ. Why can’t I as an adult make a proclamation of my faith again? Especially now as an adult with a full heart and understanding. Does God take 15 points from my house for being baptized again? The Catholic Church has become rules, an insanely rich entity that has sheltered many of the worst among us. The church needs a deep and thorough cleansing, as I believe they have corrupted Gods vision over two millennia

quote:The Catholic Church does not have a monopoly on the truth.
The real question is what Christ actually established and where the fullness of that is found.
