quote:Also she can shoot logo threes and dribble. She is easily top ten talent in the league. Just America doesn’t care about minority lesbians. Oh well.
Exactly my point. It isn't about talent, it's about the fact that she's white and (supposedly) heterosexual. Thanks for confirming it for me.

I just keep it real. The truth is scary

quote:Bingo. Clark looks like my daughter, creates relatability. I have no problem for blacks doing the same thing.
It’s okay for one group of people to say “I want little girls who look like me to know they can do what I do”….can you imagine if the other group did that?
What it ultimately boils down to economics. Blacks didn’t or couldn’t support the WNBA. Or better yet the “stars” that they had that focused heavily on being proud, woke, gay among other perceptions couldn’t draw a dime. Clark is white and straight and she for the most parts keeps her opinions to herself, “Republicans buy sneakers” is making her rich because of who she can bring to the box office.
It’s not about being the best, it’s about putting asses in the seats. No one better.

All this does is show people want to support their own kind. It’s evident that black Americans cannot support a league without the support of white communities. They finally have a talented straight white superstar, and suddenly business is picking up.
You may think that’s a problem but I don’t.

No it was my issue with the wording abuse. I’m saying he probably took them with his weight training to be that big. Where do we draw the line of use and abuse. Semantics, and off topic.
I watched a good interview with Kevin Nash where he talked about how they used steroids but in dosages like other supplements. They weren’t shooting up like ODers.

Fine, have it your way. There’s still a who’s who list of pro wrestlers whose hearts gave out in their 40s and 50s because of long term, “doctor supervised” steroid use. Nothing abusing about it.

quote:I hate when people say this crap. How do you know he abused steroids. Simply using them is not abusing them. With a doctor he could and probably took them to supplement himself. Kevin Nash said it best, they were serious athletes doing serious training and weights and augmenting it with steroids under doctors supervision. It may have not been legal, but I don’t think they were abusing them like someone would abuse pills.

They have been, but in today’s world, I don’t doubt anything. Ken Burns will have to surround himself with woke in any film making endeavors. And he’s already faced criticism from his Civil War Series he has to live in the academia world. Have you not seen the ridiculous turn Neil Degrasse Tyson has taken.

Didn’t David Duke have the idea that anyone on welfare would get some type of menial job in welfare for the state. Like custodial work and what not at official government buildings. I like it.

Show one person in WNBA knocking down 3s from that range. Thats why she is so popular.
re: Magic gives a very good definition of a "superstar"

LeBron is the last one, before him Kobe. That’s the NBAs problem, because everyone plays the same now in a sense.

She's the only player people come out to see, in person or on television. She's the only superstar in the WNBA.

Part of any game is executing routine plays. Easy to spot the “fans”. Sometimes you don’t make those plays. Why didn’t lsu drop any fly balls, they executed.

Teachers probably have just as must chance of being shot at by students as do state troopers. Also don’t cite rises in crime when he clearly stated sitting in SUV’s writing traffic tickets. That’s not fighting crime.
