Elite five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore announced Thursday night that he has de-committed from LSU.

The 6-0, 175-pounder from Duncanville, Texas, committed to LSU in August of 2023 but revealed this past March that he was 'narrowing his focus' to LSU, Texas, Ohio State, and Oregon.

Moore is the Nation's No. 1 receiver for the class of 2025 and the No. 1 overall recruit in Texas.

LSU now has eleven verbal commitments for the class of 2025 with Moore's departure.

You heard it here, maybe not first, but he is going to Ohio State. Hartline gets just about anyone he wants.

I don’t know who started this “respect my decision” horse shite but it was ridiculous then and it’s still just as ridiculous now. Just admit it’s about the money and move on, because that’s the truth.

Come on man. We have the #1 QB coming and #1 RB. Would have been really nice for him to come here. Malik and Thomas were just 2 first round picks. But if you don’t want to be a Tiger, you’re Tiger Bait!

Other recruits in today’s bastardized version of college football don’t matter for most people. It’s all about the money to these kids, and you really can’t blame them when the vast majority won’t be in the NFL. I blame the people in charge that allowed this NIL nonsense, which wasn’t done in good faith when it comes to college athletes. It was done because the networks that are throwing money around said so.

I don’t respect anyone that makes a commitment and then backs down from it. Loser.

What a surprise!!! #1 QB will follow suit as well. These kids today have no clue what a commitment means. Because the kid is taking care of an entire family.

Can these kids just stop using the word “committed?” Or at least put an asterisk by it.

I would rather him “de -commit” now than flip on signing day. Honestly, Texas probably outbid us.

And there it is…. Respek ma decision. as soon as you commit and things don’t go your way you will be hitting the transfer portal anyway. Everyone can pretend all they want but CFB is not and may never the same again.

It’s hard to get emotionally invested and be a fan of any of these kids. Even kids currently on the team when nobody knows if the my will be playing for us or against us 6 months from now.

That’s the main thing that’s wrong with college football. I know it’s the same for other collegiate sports but college football sets the standard for college sports. I hope the new EA Sports college football game, which will probably be the newest Madden made over with college players was worth it. Because players being paid for likeness started this nonsense. Instead of figuring something out when it came to amateurs being paid, it went straight to The Wild West.
