Can Paramount save Star Trek?

Save it? Season 3 of Picard and SNW are great IMO but this new Academy show is beyond bad, to the point where it has to be questioned if it’s this bad on purpose.

Yeah, let's just print more money for another war. Why can't I afford anything? Derp.

If printing money for BS Covid reasons under two administrations didn’t raise eyebrows, then this isn’t going to matter for the people on either side of the aisle that love that taxpayer money.

Like Paul Giamattis character

He’s the best thing this show has going for it.

Woof. This episode was silly and has me questioning why I watch. These meta type episodes must resonate with someone, but it ain’t me.

I couldn’t even finish the episode, she’s just too much. I don’t know how anyone that’s an actual fan of Star Trek and had the power to green light this show said yes.
WWL thought giving Angela Hill his time slot was a good idea, it wasn’t and that’s how Scoot ended up in that time slot.

WWL was the soundtrack of the early 2000's for me, my grandparents listened to it constantly. I tuned in the other night from MO just for old time sakes but it's obviously all different now.

And not for the better. It really started going downhill once they got rid of Spud.
As ridiculous as that is, at least they are in their sons lives.
The mother comes off like a person that shouldn’t be trusted in a relationship.

I have a coworker whose New Year’s resolution was to have a more defined jaw line. So for the last month he’s been chewing on “fitness” gum 8 hours a day for at least 5 days a week.

That’s definitely some first world problem, white people stuff.

Sometimes I have my doubts about democracy. Go out in public, look around.. That's who votes.

Thankfully a lot of those same people are lazy and don’t take the time to go vote.

Most everything else since covid just seems to keep going up in price.

If you put on your conspiracy theory glasses it seems like it was part of a larger plan to do just that.

Morning everyone, looking forward to tomorrow’s forecast of sunshine and the temperature in the 70’s.
5 episodes into the first season and it’s great, I can’t believe I didn’t give this a shot earlier. Harrison Ford is outstanding and I even like Jason Segel in this.

ER was very popular but I never watched it

It’s our current going to sleep show on HBO MAX, I didn’t realize it went for 15 seasons.

For some reason it is becoming cool to shite on it. . .but Sinners is one of the best movies in a long time.

We all know the answer, regardless of that fact it was still a good movie. Sometimes you just have to put political crap aside and try to enjoy something without nitpicking everything that you don’t agree with. The number of nominations it gets doesn’t change the fact that it was fun and entertaining, at least it was IMO.

Rhodesia was put under huge political pressure from the United Kingdom, United States

Even with everything going on in the UK at present, hanging the people of Rhodesia out to dry was probably the beginning of the end for them, even if no one knew it at the time. To a lesser extent the same could be said about the US. Feelings over facts and recent history played a role then the same way it continues to do so now.

The same thing that has so far prevented Africa from becoming the super continent that rules the world.
This and The Rip kind of takes me back to the 80’s and 90’s when it comes to these type of action/comedy movies. Not everything has to be an award winning, highbrow production. There was never anything wrong with these types of movies.

Morning. I’ve had my fill of the cold weather.
Maybe it’s because Disney released all the episodes at once but I enjoyed this way more than I expected. I don’t know if a second season is in the works but I hope it is.
