re: Crawfish pota

Yea I looked them up. They look cool. Call me old fashioned but if I was in need, I’d probably try to find a local baw from Louisiana.
For the time being, I’ll stick with my 100 qt pot and double jet burner.
I wish Gator all the success though
I emailed them yesterday. I have a 3 1/2 year old 590 with a 4 year warranty. One of the numbers on the temp screen wasn’t showing up and paint on the lid is bubbling up/ rust.
They’re sending me a new “controller digitizer” and said they’re out of stock of the lids so they’re sending a can of high heat spray paint to touch up my lid.
Kind of aggravating but what can you do
I can’t bring myself to pay for it. Refuse to give them my money
lol a buddy of mine said his went down hill fast after 120k

3 row SUV suggestions for wife

We currently have a ‘17 ford explorer that just crossed 100k miles and I just don’t trust it to go much further. My wife is hard on vehicles…
So I want a tank. Something we can have for a while. I’ve been looking into Toyota highlanders and Honda pilots. Both seem to have some issues people have mentioned.
I’ll definitely be buying preowned.
A buddy of mine was stationed in Japan for a while. He said he ate some of the best sushi, but he got burnt out. He still won’t eat it to this day
Totinos for sure. Uncrustables are pretty good too. We normally don’t buy them though because it’s so much cheaper to make a pb&j.
A basic grilled cheese is hard to beat too.
Literally sat in 212 yesterday. Amazing seats!
Gonna make my first opener today! It feels like Christmas!
I can go either way on a burger.
But IMO a fully dressed poboy is the only way it should be eaten.
Got some because of this post. I like it. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite but I sure did contemplate getting a second bowl..
Part of the reason I use frozen it to help cool down the pot. I guess it throws people off that I throw the shrimp in with the fire off.
But I also have a lot of friends that can’t boil water.

While that does sound good, when I’m craving a traditional club, I want some plain white bread… maybe Texas toast. Has to be toasted.

That club looks dang good. Seems like a good traditional club are getting hard to find these days.
You have to keep in mind that all of these YouTube guys are trying get as many views as possible. A unique way to boil shrimp is a good way to get eyes.
I’m sure it works just fine. But I know what works for me, so I’ll stick with it.

Is nicotine good for you?

I’ve seen some videos of guys talking about health benefits, but I’m not sure if they’re just trying to push the product.
I currently do a cheaper version of Zyn nicotine pouches. I’ve been thinking about quitting altogether, but I know it wouldn’t be easy. I’ll keep rocking on if I can justify it with some health benefits.
I get the water seasoned and boiling and kill the fire once I throw the shrimp in. You can look at the shrimp and tell when it’s done. When the shell starts to pull off the meat.

People that watch me do it call me crazy but when I boil crawfish I throw frozen raw shrimp in during the soak. They always come out great. Just keep an eye on them and don’t overcook them

Same here minus the beer. Going on 6 months sober! A&W zero sugar here lol
Not as exciting, but it’ll do.
I’m slightly worried about my first sober crawfish boil. Gonna be tough standing around that pot without a cold one! I trust the good Lord will get me through it though.

Sorry to unload on you like that lol. I guess I just had to get it off of my chest.
