re: Better overall decade, 80's or 90's?

Looking back, it seems to me that the 80’s and 90’s were equally great until the internet came out. That’s what killed the good times, Simpler times, at least. More human.

Depends on how you feel about goiters.

That’s why I clearly stated that it wasn’t the same thing. It’s an analogy. Yet, they are similar. They both involve a person nearing the end of their path making a choice to spare others the heavy burden of care, amongst other things.

Some Native American tribes had a tradition where older people who could no longer contribute, slow the tribe down, would wander into the wilderness or stay behind so as not to slow the tribe down. That’s dying with dignity. Not the same thing, but a person with a neuro-degenerative illness voluntarily making the decision while they are still able to is also dying with dignity. I think I’d like to do the same if Alzheimer’s comes for me.

If you want to date a kid, you have to put up with kid things.

$4.224 million is more than I expected a 5th rounder would get.

Could just be that the kid has a terrible attitude.

One longtime NFL assistant coach said his time with Sanders was "the worst formal interview I've ever been in in my life. He's so entitled. He takes unnecessary sacks. He never plays on time. He has horrible body language. He blames teammates.

Honestly that is really normal for me like 100% of the time. I assume it really normal in most large metropolitan cities, which is where the majority of Americans live.

Probably since people began living in tribes.

The science doesn’t back it up, but the placebo effect is very real.

Panchos was guaranteed diarrhea, but their Mexican flag system was revolutionary.

Keep up the cardio. As you say, ab exercises don’t help you if there’s a layer of flab on top. Belly fat is usually the last to go, unfortunately.

re: Cam Newton: NIL is to make your college experience comfortable. This is not forever money.

Cam only got $180,000 to play at Auburn. That seems like a good amount to be comfortable.

Reminds me of early 90’s style compact pickups. I find it oddly refreshing that it’s a bit boring. Not a space ship.
