I my home town of Alliance Ohio the school system turfed all their athletic fields. I mean all of them, middle school, high school, football, baseball, softball, soccer. The worse part is they don't even use the football field for varsity games. They use a local college. They used Covid funds to offset the other budget items over the last 4 years. Now they are cutting foreign language and other subjects due to budget cuts. Sad what bad leadership will do.

Yep, Shadow is totally blind to the fact that home owners paying stupid levels of school taxes in TX are tired of fraudulent school boards robbing them at will.

The five closest stadiums to me here in the Austin area laugh at that stadium.

some of these high schools get ridiculous funding from wealthy parents. Walton High School is one such example.

I live in this area. Buford High School is not apart of a county school district but is instead ran by the city of Buford. This is a destination school as far as public schools go and many families pay good money to be apart of it (taxes). Buford is a nice enough area, but realistically you are only moving here if you are trying to get your kids into Buford High School. You could drive 15 minutes further in any direction and the cost of living would go way down.

They run that school like a business/private school and this is the result.

Buford is a glorified college. Produces great athletes and most are functional but retarded.

this is just up the road from me outside Atlanta. Their basketball facility ain't too shabby either. Buford produces a lot of D1 players, and some have played for LSU.

I lived there for several years. The football team produces several d-1 prospects every year along with Mill Creek and the other surrounding high schools. Their athletic complex was nicer than my d-3 complex in college and this was 6 years ago.
