I think you guys are missing that he was going to kick the xp until LSU jumped offsides.
They were lining up to
a) try to draw LSU offsides
b) see what defense LSU was going to line up in on a 2 pt play
c) Get LSU to use their last timeout.

When LSU jumped offsides not once but twice, it was a much easier decision to go for 2, and like i said earlier, worst case is youre still up 6 and getting the ball back at some point down no more than 2. best case is you get the 8 point lead and its pretty much ball game.
Just admit the guy made a good call. I never thought Golding was a good coach either, but i was impressed by that call and the way his team was prepared for LSU.

I thought it was a well coached game on both sides. Ole miss was certainly prepared and played well while LSU missed a lot of opportunities because we didn’t execute. We had recievers open multiple times and couldnt connect. Had chambliss bottled up multiple times and he made some incredible throws. That’s not on the coaches.

You think Lane called in the off sides penalties don’t you?

New cars/trucks are over-engineered on purpose. Manufacturers figured out another revenue stream is the dealerships being the only ones that can do the mechanical upkeep.

If someone would start making $25k vehicles with basic equipment like 15-20 years ago and not everything on a computer like a freaking spaceship, it would sell like hot cakes.

I think the rb had an option of passing/pitching to qb. ( he was wide open and would have walked in) , but the left tackle got pushed into the backfield and blew up the play.
They set it up earlier in the game with a similar play. If so it was a great call but terrible execution like many other plays last night.

Ole miss played on emotion and played above their level in the playoffs last year. Fans have had this game circled for a year so you know it will be a battle.
