I visit SECRant.com, and this is on the main page. I realize TD is what spawned Rant, but it’s funny that 90% of the posts are about Alabama.

They are getting paid for one thing, and there are a TON of fans who care more than these players. There are fans that will lose their shite over a loss. A lot of the players are just like “oh well.” So this is a cute rant and all, but the reason fans are upset is because our team has looked like shite all year long despite our record, and we’d like to see some improvement.

I'll never understand why he doesn't just leave. He doesn't like Bama. He doesn't like the fans. His lake house is probably 5+ hours away. Any other school in the SEC (not including Vandy) would get close if not match what Bama pays. And before any of your refute that. The University of South Carolina is paying Dawn Staley $2.9 million a year. Thats half of what Saban makes. The apparel/commercial deals alone wold bridge that gap for him and his staff. Not to mention your basically buying a proven investment.

He stays because he knows without those advantages he won’t be at the same level even with his same staff. He stays because he knows he can’t go to Vandy and compete. His system has requirements. Welp, when the head coach speaks it...LOL. I know a few BAMA fans that I won't watch games with. I've cheered during an LSU BAMA game and gotten dirty looks from them in my own house. He's not wrong.... Saban knows what is wrong with team and sometimes it's not an easy fix. Guy has his coordinators poached every year and he recovers well from that. If the rabies infected bama fans don't want him, I'd welcome him back.

Living in New Orleans as a Bama fan, I feel your pain. The shite I get from LSU fans while cheering for Bama in their presence has definitely gotten some death stares. Seeing that happens in a lot of cases while anyone cheers for your team in front of rival fans, I’m not sure what it has to do with Saban’s rant.
