Alabama's Terrell Lewis Posts Message To Fans Trolling Him For Not Playing In Citrus Bowl
© Butch Dill-USA TODAY Sports
Alabama star DB Terrell Lewis is one of a couple players sitting out the Citrus Bowl against Michigan. Apparently, Lewis is hearing it from fans/trolls about not playing to prepare for the NFL Draft, so he posted this message to Instagram on Wednesday...

How in the blue hell did this kid pass freshman English? Didn't somebody teach him to use multiple sentences when writing a paragraph? Punctuation is a real thing.

It's an instagram post. I'd question who the hell cares? Most kids on instagram spell "s"'s with "z"'s cause it's "cool". His rant is also at an angle, wanna bitch about that too, Boomer?

Given his injury history, no way he should play

Agreed and I'd imagine that's what his new agent told him.

With the advent of online classes, my guess is someone else at Bama signed in and took his.

The time he is taking off needs to be spent brushing up on grammar skills.

I don’t really respect players that quit in their team before the season is over.

So don't overestimate your ability to make it to the NFL. Go out and prove you belong.

Someone with English credentials needs to grade that 'sentence'.

While it could be rephrased, it has no grammatical errors.

Good. I want more kids to bail on 2nd and 3rd tier bowls. I hope that it ultimately leads to more teams in a playoff.

We don't need more teams in a playoff.

@mark -- that wont influence decision makers. its about money, not the quality of the bowl game @sg there absolutely should be an 8 team playoff

We have a four-team playoff. That's all we need. The rest of the bowls are fine the way they are. They sure beat the hell out of more basketball. And if you think 2nd- and 3rd-tier bowl games are insignificant, then you probably don't realize that most college football regular-season games are insignificant. Only half of a conference's division has a legit chance to win that division in a given year. That leaves you with a lot of teams playing only for pride. For every LSU-Alabama type of game in a given season, there are way more Ole Miss-Arkansas types of games. And there's nothing wrong with that.

You'd think with all that money floating around Bama they could at least afford to buy that man a comma or semi-colon. Wow.

Unfortunately, he will probably be broke in 5-10 years and have to find a real job. Hope he got his degree.
