Politics and LSU have been tied at the hip for over 100 years and that is not going to change anytime soon. In fact LSU may lead the nation in colleges that are tied to politics. I’m not advocating for or against it’s just reality.

Now with that said anyone who thinks that the SEC is this benevolent and fair entity that just wants what’s best for every team under their control and is in no way tied to politics is just absolutely blind to reality. Us, the more aged LSU supporters, have watched this for many years now unfurl. How many times have we seen the similar situations occur and not rat fart peep comes from the SEC leadership. This particular situation has their jock straps in a wad and it’s because some powerful people not associated with LSU have decided we are the devil. Their behind the scenes placating to the sports media is obvious. Interesting how LSU is the lead line on multiple sport sites and yet multiple schools are trying the same thing.

Look Kiffin / LSU / state politics has the guts now to push the envelope and what they have shown is the absolute hypocrisy of the NCAA, the SEC and multiple other schools and their conferences. The ones complaining hide in the dark corners too scared to show their faces.

Dale Brown for years called out the NCAA hypocrisy. One of his best lines was calling them gestapo bastards. Was Dale pure and clean absolutely not but the blue bloods and the NCAA he was up against were multiple times worse. And you know what The SEC just sat quiet in the corner.

Say what you want I like the fact that LSU sports overall is not just bending over and taking it from anyone. Hey NCAA / SEC you created this mess so now fix it or we will continue to press the edges of these hazy rules.

Frankly it’s the same situation with the Nuss injury. He Gets hurt in Fall camp and it takes a NFL medical scan in the Spring to determine his injury. Just flat unacceptable . MRI’s can’t cost that much to perform on your tier 1 paid athletes.

The yearly maintenance cost and upkeep on all of that wooden decking and handrails would eat your cash at an astounding rate.

The vast majority of car dealers are an absolute den of thieves. Most have always been shady but it seems since the Covid era their abject deceptive practices and pricing hubris has exponentially gotten worse.

Wish I could offer a fix it person for ya…I understand your problem immensely. I finally figured out after two in home under-counter ice machines went out and quickly realized they were extremely expensive to fix that I just didn’t need it. Now I understand if you you have a large number of people in a house how these would be extremely attractive to have. Ours was when kids were in and out. Once it got down to just two of us it made no sense. Frankly I just buy extra bags of ice when I know I will have a large crew at the house and thrown them in the freezer. And if I ever decide I must absolutely have an ice machine in the house I have seen some really good countertop models that produce really well. Thought is to park that thing out of the way and use when it is called upon.

Good luck on repairs and hope you find one that last much longer than our did.

This is 100% the correct answer. I’ve had 4 season tickets on an aisle since the early 90’s and many times i have rolled up to the game right before kickoff and if I didnt have seat backs at least one of my four seats would have to be on steps due to the sheer number of fat asses on my row. Those seat backs are like a wolf pissing to mark his territory.
