Is there something new coming out? I haven't kept up over the weekend.

Yo Dawg, I rarely ask for some link to verify someone’s dumbassery but you’re gonna have to produce some legit evidence that anti vaxxers are claiming the population is going to be wiped out…..like dead man.
I ain't him, but it was a common conspiracy theory I saw floating in forums and social media. Like most conspiracy theories, it's usually a word salad, but the general theme was that the vaccine was a "depopulation" weapon and that people would start dying from it within X number of months or years.
And like all conspiracy theories, the goal posts get moved every time a tangible date/time/circumstance is surpassed with none of the statements coming true.
re: Who actually spreads dangerous and deadly COVID misinformation?

It stands to reason that if you reduce that likelihood of transmission by vaccination, then only the most virulent strains will actually be transmitted, and this will create another outbreak as it spreads from person to person vaccinated or not. Rogan says in his podcast that he was not arguing for nor against vaccines, this is simply information from a scientific study.
So you're arguing against all vaccines, then?
quote:
Vaccination reduces the risk of delta variant infection and accelerates viral clearance. Nonetheless, fully vaccinated individuals with breakthrough infections have peak viral load similar to unvaccinated cases and can efficiently transmit infection in household settings, including to fully vaccinated contacts
My claim was that vaccination reduces transmission. What's it say right there in bold?

The new strains have come from highly unvaccinated countries. Delta came from India, for example.
The vaccine has been shown to reduce household transmission and they've shown over and over again that vaccinated people are less likely to contract covid. Recent statistics have the number at 10X less likely. Can they catch it? Of course. But they are less likely to do so by several orders of magnitude.
And furthermore, people who've caught Covid and have antibodies from a wild infection, can catch and transmit covid again, but just like vaccinated people, they're less likely to do so, and if/when they do, their symptoms not as strong.
That said, if Joe Rogan's talking point were correct for vaccinated people, then it would also apply to people who've caught covid and have antibodies from a prior infection.

Every year GA has the easiest path to the SECCG. The only other team in the nation that has an easier path to a champ game is Clemson.

Why, you pay for their skill set and their results not for how long they hang out at your office. An employee that can get 40 hours done in 32 is more valuable than an employee who needs 40 to get the same results.
exactly! currently salaried myself and some weeks it takes me 25 hours to get the work done, and other weeks it takes 50 or more. It just depends on the workload/season we are in. It's silly that I have to sit at my desk during the off season till the end of the day with nothing to do just bc of some arbitrary HR rule that was written for the whole company. Salaried folks are paid for results, not by the hour, yet we get treated like an hourly worker in terms of seat time.
IMO you incentivize people to work harder by letting them go home when they've finished a project (assuming there's not another project waiting in the queue).

Is it a forgone conclusion that he'll win it? Last week it seemed as tho OSU QB jumped Young, but then OSU got blasted Saturday, so I assume Young is back at top but I haven't seen anything that says he's a lock.
re: Bryce Young odds on Heisman favorite

Seems like the favorite early in the season always gets surpassed by some breakout star around the 2/3 mark in the season. Almost like voters get fatigue with the early favorite and get wowed by someone later when it's closer to vote time.

Good question. The instance of heart problems with covid infection is roughly 16x higher than with the vaccine.

Did you gripe about any instance you perceived this happened?
1. Trump ordered White House Counsel Don McGahn to create a false record indicating that no attempts [to fire Robert Mueller] took place – McGahn refused.
2. The Constitution’s Foreign Emoluments Clause prohibits the president from accepting personal benefits from any foreign government or official.
Trump retained ownership in his family business while he is in office. Every time a foreign official stayed at a Trump hotel, or a foreign government approved a new Trump Organization project, or granted a trademark (Chinese granted him several trademarks), Trump is in violation of the Constitution.
3. Every time Trump went to golf at a Trump property, he funneled taxpayer money into his family business, violating the Domestic Emoluments Clause.
Trump spent over $100 million taxpayer dollars to golf and vacation at his own properties.
How would you feel about Joe Biden funneling $100,000,000 plus of taxpayer money into his personal business? I'd like to see you go on record here saying how you would feel about that.
These are just the tip of the iceberg of ways he either violated the constitution or broke the rules.
