Vanderbilt DBs coach Dan Jackson will take a "step back" from his role with the team as the university does an internal review of his recent Facebook comments that said Kanye West is...
quote:

"two steps ahead of everyone else."
(For those who don't know, West lost sponsors over antisemitic comments he made during interviews and on social media.) A few days later, he issued an apology for being "careless" and showing "poor judgement." Vanderbilt athletic director Candice Lee has released a statement on how the school will handle this matter...
quote:

"It is important the university follow its standard process and conduct a thorough review of the complexities of this incident," Lee said in a statement, via ESPN. "Coach Jackson and I have agreed that he will step back from his responsibilities with the team during the Equal Opportunity and Access office's review."

anyone CAN criticize ANYONE!!!!!!!! but if your employer doesn't like or want NEGATIVE publicly based on the FACT that they are attempting to insure inclusivity YOU most likely will be fired......see how that works ....you can say anything you desire (free speech) however it does come with consequences

How do we reverse this stupid woke shit? Why does no one have the balls with power to say frick you, cry if you want, but I'm staying right here.

Would Vandy really hear any backlash on this whatsoever? I highly doubt it.

First, being suspended from Vandy football is actually a reward. Second, this is purely political and I hope he sues Vanderbilt for a ton of money.

While I agree with you, there is no law that says you can't fire people based on political beliefs. So unless Tennessee has a law or he has it in his contract, they are free to fire him (as best that I can tell).

The discovery would be great to see the ADs emails even if he lost the case.

Cut healthy ducks off of kids who are too young to make informed decisions - perfectly fine. (As long as it brings in that $$$)

Have a political opinion we don't like - internal review and suspension.

Freedom of speech? Freedom of child abuse is fine and dandy at this school.
