My question is: How dumb does Max Johnson feel right now??? You leave a team to go play for another because there is a coaching change. Now, your new coach gets fired and the coaching staff from the school you left had developed the Heisman frontrunning QB!!

Best day of his life....no pressure $78 million. He should be congratulated on the development and execution of a outstanding early retirement program.

The rumor is that Mississippi State was the first game where Fisher turned the offense completely over to Petrino, who proceeded to drop 50 points on a conference foe with their third string QB. It just proved to everybody that Jimbo has been his own biggest problem the whole time.

Not a reach, but, I’ll call it now. Kiffin takes the job. He knows he cannot and will never be able to “buy” the talent at Ole Miss; he has said as much so. Limitless NIL, facilities, resources, TX recruiting, etc. I believe he takes the job in a heartbeat, if offered.

It doesn't matter who they hire. Saban can't when there. It's their culture to lose. That's all they know

The Aggies have had a few successes but this were almost always followed by an NCAA investigation and punishment. ATM is one of the most penalized schools in terms of major NCAA infractions. I think being Little Brother to UT in Austin drove them to it. Meanwhile, they proclaim they have an honor code or some such BS.

Saban would win a nc there within 4 years. Guaranteed.

$76M and he can just sit on the beach or ranch somewhere and enjoy life. I wish my failure got rewarded like that.

Texas AM has been in the SEC for ten years. Prior to coming to the SEC their last natty in football was 1939 and their last conference title was 1998, and their winning percentage was 52%. Since coming into the SEC they have spent 896 million dollars on Stadium up grades and coaching salaries. They'll fire the rest of the staff and pay those buyouts. Their winning percentage for the last decade is........53%.
Imagine spending a billion dollars with nothing to show for it. Good times folks!

The guy who hired Jimbo hired Kelly. Let’s hope it doesn’t end up the same in 4 years from now

Please get Kingsbury. He hasn’t been that successful anywhere so he would fit at A&M.

Come on over Terry Bussey, Dominick McKinley and Gabriel Reliford our HC has stability. It's a great time to be a Tiger and very soon Champions.

Talk about overpaid. No sports coach should make that kind of money.

The money must see there's a coach worth this move now...Oregon, WA, and Mizzou getting nervous I'm assuming. Any others? Either way there are about 5 or so coaches getting raises from this move.
