I think the person who made the statue disrespected him with the size of that noggin.

Maybe they thought it was a Peyton Manning statue.

That statue looks fricking stupid. Miles will be so much better.

I agree with the first part. Not so much the second

No way a fired coach that won a whopping ONE national championship gets a statue. At most, they'll name the parking lot after him.

That is how the trees at Tooner's Corner got poisoned.

Sabsn would look good in any color, but green is his favorite...

That's a pretty terrible statue. And no normal person or people would put a statue up of an active coach, unless he was maybe 75 years old or something and had been there for decades. Saban is as good as any college coach in any sport ever, but it's just extremely tacky.

Bama has a statue up for every coach in program history who has won a national title. It isn't something special that was done for Saban. The other statues were up before Saban got to Bama.

Why is that disrespectful? Saban, and most other coaches, would work for whatever school wants to pay them. Nick Saban doesn't have any special love for Alabama just like he didn't have love for MSU, LSU, or Miami. Hollywood waved a few dollars under his nose and he played the role of LSU coach. He's not from Alabama or the South - get real.
