Manage that explosive offense to slow down a little to rest the defense. It helps us last year somewhat.
Saban has alluded to that in past, wants more out of run game, and lately been getting that with Harris making better runs between tackles instead of always trying to bounce outside too much. But if the D gives you man on man with Smith or Metchie, especially a safety, gonna throw deep every time.

Helps to play offenses without a pulse, but at least we look like we’ve played football before.
Agree, not elite offenses by any stretch, but they SEC. Just what the young players needed and should give a big boost to confidence going forward. I mean, Saban himself said they have improved steadily and he would not say it if he didn't believe it.

Allowed 17 points, scored 14 points, = 3 points.
They improving.

Will Reichard is a god. The true hero of Bama’s offense this year.
Your sardonic praise of Reichard is noted. At some point this season Bama will most likely be up against an elite D with tight game late in 4th quarter.
If Bama has a true hero so far it's the O Line...lot's of depth, experience, size, injury free.

Competition vs offenses in that span not exactly elite, but it's still SEC. Against State in first half at times 3 true freshmen started along with 4 shirted freshmen and sophomores. They gaining confidence.
Bama offense just gets better, especially the run game. Frosh rb Trey Sanders looking healed from last year's season ending foot injury Can not afford to lose Smith at WR.
Real weapon at PK has developed as Will Reichard has healed from season ending injury last year. He's 8 of 8 field goals, all extra points.
Punting is still a liability as Bama is on its 4th punter since late last year. 40 yard punts are a rarity now. Bama fans are now conditioned to be relieved with a 35 yarder that's not reuturned for more than 10.
Penalties continue to be a prob, especially drive killing offsides by O linemen, will eventually hurt down the line against tougher foes if not corrected.

And I know why it's been decades. Because sugar neutralizes the coffee taste. If you're gonna sugar your coffee, why not just go ahead and make some hot chocolate.

Most beautiful actresses who could act and had real class as a person, when women were women. Don't see that very often nowadays. So much skanky, tattooed, pierced, filthy mouthed wannabes, who couldn't act their way out of a wet paper bag.
Here's one example of the real deal:

re: Looking for a great, under the radar election season movie, watch 'Shampoo' (1975)

Agree. Streaming now on Criterion Channel, great movie, much FUN.
Another under radar: Jackie Brown...one of Tarantino's earlier films. I watched recently after not having seen when it first came out decades ago. I had forgotten just how good that movie is, great story, pace, so satisfying the ending. Co lead Robert Forster so underrated, low key; he's so good in this role that when watching you think the guy is a real person playing his real life job.

My Paul Harvey moment

Did a little yard work this morning. Came in and felt a twig or small debris in shoe, took shoe off, shook it. Stirred about and felt it again, repeat procedure. And once again I felt it. This time I brought shoe over to light and peered inside......and found nothing! Alas, a light went off in my head as I realized I didn't consider checking inside of sock for debris. And now you know the rest of the story. Good day!
