Brando is cringe.

not as cringe as an
adult using the word cringe bc he doesn’t realize the kids stopped saying cringe so long ago that I literally cringe when I see/hear the word cringe

Has anyone let him know that the AP poll is irrelevant to the CFPs? And, like all polls should be, the CFP poll doesn't begin until week 9 when teams have actually played some football.

While I find Brando annoying, the AP poll isn't entirely irrelevant. It clearly steers opinion as to who people/Vegas see as favorites.
But has Brando looked at UGA's schedule? They're all but penciled in as 1 of the final 4. I'm sure the AP factors schedule into their voting.

Welcome to 1972 Timmy. You never complained when your face was in front of every TV set for a couple of decades. Shut your pie hole now.

Opinion polls biased?

C'mon...

Yet, he cant point to one champion in the CFP era and say they weren't worthy, or that a more deserving team was left out of the playoffs due to a preseason bias.

Brandon is a contrarian simply to try and stay relevant in whatever fantasy he lives in. Don’t even know what he does anymore.

Just wait until OU and Texas get into the conference! You will have 2 loss Sec champs not making the playoffs because some Micky Mouse School playing a nothing Schedule gets in after beating 1 top 25 team!

Brando would love to see TCU get back to the Playoffs though. He'd be the first to argue that a team like that deserves to be there because of their record against shitty teams.

Michigan played shitty teams aside from OSU and Penn State

It is definitely a great marketing tool. For instance, NIKE spends a ton of advertising dollars with ESPN and every other college football news medium.

Why do you think Oregon always starts out so high?

:he’s right, you know:

Not really. Preseason polls are pretty much copy/pasted from recruiting rankings. It's just that those always end up pretty much the same every year and the usual suspects find ways to underperform. The result is the same, but the method is not what Brando is crying about.

Well good thing they don’t matter one bit.

Except that they do. This is how you end up with a 3-2 Notre Dame team at #20 in the polls while a 5-0 preseason unranked team claws it's way up to #21.

Everyone knows polls are shite until at least week 8. Win your games and you’ll get a shot at the end.

Let’s be honest, the polls now are much better than they used to be about teams playing their way up them

He’s totally right and said exactly what’s on everybody’s minds

yeah that's why a 1-loss TCU that didn't get a single preseason vote, let alone a top 25 ranking, and didn't win it's conference got into the CFP last year. Because of preseason bias. lol.
