Danny Kanell Called This SEC Team’s CFB Playoff Ranking An 'Absolute Joke'
© Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports
College football analyst Danny Kanell was all fired up after the College Football Playoff committee released its inaugural rankings for the 2020 season on Tuesday night. What specifically got him going was Georgia's ranking...

Do you agree?

I would take UGA outside the SEC vs all teams except for Ohio St and Clemson. Not saying I would take Ohio St or Clemson over Dawgs, I would bet on those 2 games. All others... UGA or UGA + points.

Notre Dame would kill georgia! Northwestern and indiana have inferior players but are so much better coached. North Carolina is a better comparison for georgia.

Georgia would be the under dawg vs. Cincinnati & Northwestern? Gimme UGA and the points.

Georgia is not very good at football this year. Sec is in transition year. Alabama is really good. After that, not so hot. This season is a lark.

UGA is the perennially overrated but this is nothing new. 1980 gets further away every year.

I completely agree with Kanell's take about Georgia's over-inflated ranking from last night. And just for the record, this is nothing new for UGA. Seems to me, they begin most seasons with a lofty preseason ranking that is based almost entirely on the level of talent on their roster and potential for what they could be. And without fail, they underachieve just about every single year!!

I don't like him, but, he's not wrong... it pains me to say that.
