1) Just how good is our back 7. OM is without a doubt the most well rounded offense we will play in the regular season. We're about to find out how our D stacks up against a unit like that.

2) Are we capable of putting consistent pressure on a team vertically?(I think we're gonna need it for this game. I don't think you get a win in Oxford by playing ball control/not to lose. Trinidad IS good enough to put up points fast. Conservative ain't gonna cut it. See last years playoff game.) Last 2 games have been lackluster to put it mildly regarding the vertical passing attack. I had some hope after the Bama game, but IMHO Gunner has reverted to missing seeing breaking downfield routes......and his accuracy hasn't been what it was in the Bama game. Not even close.

Just my .02 cents. What's your's?

If our defensive backs don't learn to turn and look for the ball, then we will likely have multiple PI penalties.
Florida blew out OM with a consistent running game that opened up their passing game. (Florida had 302 yards rushing and 196 passing)
I think we can do the same running off tackle and to the outside instead of trying to run right up the middle.
If we are have good run blocking, then it should open up play-action passes.
Gunner gets a lot of passes batted down and/or deflected when he stays in the pocket. Bobo needs to call more rollout passes with run/pass options.

Kirby's defense does better in rematches (also note the defenses after halftime).

The Sugar Bowl last year was the first look at a Pete Golding/John Baker led offense.

Last night was the 4th time we have seen Buster Faulkner.

It gives me hope that we will be much better prepared this time around.

I would like to see a breakdown of Gunner's stats when he does roll out.

The Ole Miss lbs are not in the best of shape at this point.
If we don't use our tight ends more against Ole Miss we will be missing a very significant way to exploit this weakness.

I dont mind rolling gunner.

I just think he is more accurate when his platform is set.

A lot of those short tosses that overthrow the target are on rollouts (INT vs Auburn that was intended for Elyiss).

This is at best a deep 4th quarter or last possession type game. Get ready for anything can happen though out game, fumble, interception block kick of some kind. 35 plus points might not be enough.

UGA was dominating on defense, are you saying it would have been smart to call plays that put the ball more at risk, so we could prove that we can against Ole Miss next week? During the Florida game?

I get the conservative play calling somewhat but our third qrt offensive performance was the worst I've seen in some time. A slant or tight end dump and not high risk. We could t even do that. We also ran gunner a ton when I feel like we didn't need to.

We play offense like this next weekend and we will 100% lose

Even if the defense gets 4 turnovers and scores 7 points?

I dont mind wanting to do better on offense.
I dont mind pointing out deficiencies.

I just don't understand people being so definitive about things which they know nothing about.
I dont like quitters.
Because if our team was as soft as our fanbase, we'd be Arkansas.

Every game is it's own unique game.
Nothing in this game affects next week (other than if ERIV is available).

I think it's the idea that we look like crap against Auburn and then the offense again look like crap against Florida. Is this a pattern or two bad games? We really don't know

Know nothing Abt it???

Lol any sidewalk moron can see we sucked on offense yesterday.

We couldn't even get one yard to ice the game

Stop with this shite. Of course the defense CAN win us games, but you have to have fire power to beat teams. Ole Miss is gonna score some pts next weekend. Can we answer ?

Do you think Kirby should have had the offense take more risks yesterday?

Nothing that happened yesterday has any bearing on next week.

Today, we know nothing about next week. But you are 100% confident.

Yeah. That's on you.

Which is it?
Are we 100% losing?
Or the defense and special teams get a say?

Stop quitting on the team 7 days before kickoff.
Yeah. That's on you.

Considering what happened with AU, I think what we saw yesterday was a game plan designed to not put the ball at risk and not put too much on Gunner who was coming off his worst game ever. We beat AU if we don’t have so many turnovers and Gunner unfortunately was a big part of that…who knows where his head is after that and he needed a W.

After it became clear our defense was dominating and we jumped up, the only way we lose is if we put the ball at risk on our side of the field. Anyone that watches CKS’ brand of GA football knew that after the scoop and score it was going to be murderball the rest of the game. CKS is as good as it gets in figuring opponents possessions needed to win and the time left to do it. In that context, he’d much rather force an opponent to eat 8 mins driving the length of the field in a 3 possession game than risk a short field turnover.

The only thing I’d like to see them fix is keeping the passing lanes clean because these batted down passes are too common.

If UGA's offense plays inconsistent like they have the last 2 games, it won't matter what the defense does. Same with special teams play.

It wasn't about taking more risks...it was about better play calling, better execution, better consistency.

FL scored 52 on this OM team everyone’s convinced we’re going to lose to.

This year more than any, nobody has any idea of what each week will bring.
