Great hire, very good coach and recruiter, Muschamp is only around because of Kirby, they are like brothers. He really wants to retire and enjoy his life. ...
they don't last long and rarely succeed. The only coach that would come close would be Kirby, the other names I have seen , none will come close to Saban. Bama might have a good season next year, if they can keep team together, but recruiting vs UGA, LSU, TX, and others will not be like the Saban er...
Kirby is king in Athens, he is obviously a smart man, why would he down grade himself plus his familys life style going to the Falcons. He might listen out of being courteous to Blank, but IMHO he would not take another job anywhere....
I am not smart enough to figure it all out, but the amount of money made by the SEC and Big10 schools makes NIL money really very small. Add the collectives. and increase in tickets and everything else nothing has changed except players are getting more money. As for the portal schools like UGA, Bam...

Better to get this kids situation settled now, than to wait until we have to trust or depend on him. Kirby will find a QB that he can trust to win games, I am sure of that. ...
bring in 5 star type receivers thru portal. UGA could have an all time offense, like LSU 2019. Will be interesting to see what he does on defense, almost total rebuild, but I trust him to to have a top 10 defense. Tough schedule, but Dawgs could make a 12 team play off. JMHO ...

I go way back to watching UGA vs Aub in Columbus, lot of UGA football since those days. Nobody, but God could have created #34, those where special times. Only the last 3 years have been equal or better, 29-0 36-0, amazing. Just remember this, the players will eventually move on. but the current sta...

If Dawgs start fast, 38-31 if not 27-24. either way get ready to be uncomfortable till the last play. This will be a classic, hard hitting tough game. The one word for all Dawgs is DESTINY! ...
Keeping Milroe in pocket, and Bama pass rush. Success in both and Dawgs will have a good chance. These types of games are usually won by team that controls line of scrimmage and finds a way to win the running game. ...

Quick story about WLOCP

Posted by PCDAWG on 10/27/23 at 10:59 am
Some years ago I went into Walmart (P.C.FL), first thing I saw was two young girls 25-30 yrs old wearing UGA jerseys. As I walked by I said GO DAWGs, they started laughing and juming up and down like two 16 year old kids. They where leaving for Jax for WLOCP thier first UGA game ever. That was 2007,...

Have been a Dawg since Fran the man, lived thru lots of ups and downs of UGA football, for over 60 years. This era is much like the years with #34. This is truly a great era, and much to be enjoyed, but its not the last great era. As long as Kirby is around Dawgs will be competing at the highest lev...
offense, defense, passing, rushing, first downs, kicking. Davis had most of offense vs UF, stop him you stop KY. Point spread seems high to me, but if Dawgs stop KY rushing they will win. Ky will play well up front, but Dawgs should be able to pass on them. I see a close game unless Bobo really trys...
I think Dawgs start slow again, 17-10 halftime, but depth will prevail in second half and Dawgs win 34-17. This is not yet a dominating team, given time and players getting well, they might get there. JMHO ...
My expectations are to win the next game, I am more like Dooley and Munson, too many factors to consider, but Dawgs are a good defensive team....
I feel better about this game than the SEC CS game, one thing for sure, Dawgs will be ready to compete at thier best. We will have a winning gameplan, bottom line is execution, no mistakes. Georgia has a very good opportunity to do something great, but we will see who makes the winning plays. ...

NIL is changing recruiting more than I

Posted by PCDAWG on 12/15/21 at 11:53 am
would have thought. $1.5 to $3 million deal for Hunter just might be what it takes for top recruits. Paying players is the new deal, Texas players getting $ 50 thousand a year is just the beginning. College football is on the fast track to minor league NFL. Like it or not playing for the love of the...

re: JT and Stetson moving forward…

Posted by PCDAWG on 12/12/21 at 10:33 am
Stetson (mobility) would seem like better choice vs Mich, but if healthy I would give JT a shot vs Bama. Dawgs defense matchs up well vs Mich, and will play better vs Bama, if not QB won't matter....
live in Sanford. Can only watch on TV now, but I wouldn't give up being a Dawg for every National championship Bama and all the rest have combined. Georgia has allways done things the right way, not perfect but close. No difference today than the Bear Bryant days, Dooley found a way to win the Natio...
