OL hasn’t always lived up to the hype but the Pitt Boss can recruit his arse off. The next one will be a huge step down.

Bobo favored Brice Ramsey over Deshaun Watson. Pittman's 5 star oline can't run block worth a damn. Kirby thinks all is well.

Maybe we can do better.

Didn’t we ultimately recruit Watson?

Kirby has already reached out to Matt Luke, per Anthony Dasher

Well that's not half bad. Would be nice to get this shored up quickly. Wonder if his relationship with Rich Rod will come up later.

Why did he offer Watson when he was a junior? How do you know who he favored?

Would be a weird dynamic, going from Ole Miss HC to basically working under the guy you’d hired as OC at your last gig.

But Luke is beloved by his players and if he wants to bring Elijah Moore and Plumlee then I say pay the man

If kindley returns I’d like to see he and hill lose abt 15 lbs or so. They’d still be big but I think the added athleticism and stamina would be well worth it.

He waited until signing day to make sure he got Ramsey and then offered Watson. By then it was too late.

Yea, thought that as soon as I posted. Plus, again, I don't see Coley going. I don't know much about Luke as an OL Coach but from his tenure at OM I think you nailed it. He seemed a good recruiter and there was that OM mutiny rumor following his firing. Hell, thats why he was hired after being interim.

I’m OK with Luke as long as he is told not to wear those damn golf wind shirts. He looks like he is sporting a grill cover on the sidelines every game...

Could Luke help change the offense some? He’s spent a lot of time in offenses much different than ours.

I'll take him over Coley right now. That still doesn't help with the QB though. Fromm has fallen off of a cliff.

Why would he do that?

Clemson offered and he committed as a Sophomore.Almost any school is gonna be late if a kid commits as a Sophomore.

Because he also made some utterly stupid moves as well with qb recruiting. Cam Newton as a TE comes to mind
