Strangely I'm not near as nervous as I was for the Michigan game at the same time frame. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I just hope they really come to play.

Im nervous again. I made the mistake of watching the hour long Brooks Austin defensive breakdown of the SECCG earlier today. I'm not going to link it here because I don't want to put that evil on yall.

Not nervous. We made it here again. Was definitely more nervous about losing to the Yanks from Ann Arbor and the relentless shite for the next year from the BIG10.

Think we have a good chance if we blitz more on defense and don’t let Scoutie turn it over.

If I were to ever bet on UGA football, which I very very rarely do, I would actually bet UGA first half here. Wouldn’t have done that a week ago

I’d love to see someone break down how we adjusted defensively in the Michigan game Vs the Bama game. I know we played a much worse opponent but we did look much, much better.

I know Dayne Young and Brent Rollins streamed a breakdown but haven’t gotten around to watching it.

I'm extremely concerned about our corners even though Metchie isn't playing. I'm not confident we can keep up if it turns into a shootout.

I'm confident that we'll blitz more and make it much harder for Young. I think we're going to play better. Will it be enough, who knows?

Based on the hour-long Austin breakdown of the SECCG, it wasn't our corners who screwed up so much as our safeties. And miscomm's on defense in general, most of the blown coverage wasn't a guy getting beat, it was just one guy playing zone while another guy is in man and someone was wrong, and a part of the field gets left open, and you get smoked. Clean that shite up and don't get too exotic and I think the secondary is fine. Need Smith healthy because Dirty Dan is not a great coverage safety. High motor, big hitter, all that, but is a liability in man coverage.

Got that teed up for my 3 am insomnia in the hotel room on Sunday night

That said, I'm not sure how to feel. I believe we are the better team, but this is truly a game that I'll believe we can win once I see it.

I know where some weed is buried on Harrison High School property, I can send you the coordinates and it will help you sleep. It's from my Friendship Church connection....

About the same as I did before the first one, and all the other ones, vs bama:

Not confident we have the qb to make the key 4th q plays to win the game.

It looked like bad zone to me. It also looked like the front 3 tried not to get upfield. Like they were trying to keep young in front of them. Whatever it was, it didn't work.

Watching the breakdown it's like you're watching Western Kentucky and it's painful. Mistakes all over the field on basically every defensive play. Supposed to be the #1 defense in the country and looked like total garbage. It obviously wasn't a talent problem. Conservatively, half of these guys are NFL starters. It's clear to me they tried doing too much different shite and outcoached themselves, when all Bryce Young was doing was reading the defense like any good QB does, and getting the ball out quick. Bama didn't really do anything fancy except that one little flea flicker deal. And we couldn't stop it. Because there was always someone out of position. It was piss poor and now I'm getting angry about it. I love Lanning but if this Lanning-Muschamp-Shuman triumvirate results in that kind of nonsense, then maybe Lanning would be better just flying up to Eugene OR.

I am quietly confident because I know that both teams' SECCG performances were statistical aberrations for the rest of the season's data.

Bama has to play out of their minds, hair on fire the whole time.

We just have to play our game on D.

All that said, I will NEVER underestimate Saban's ability to get his guys up for a big game. He has those kids convinced that no one takes them seriously, despite being the #1 seed.

I'll believe the Dawgs win when I see the Dawgs win, because I can't suffer another heartbreaker.

I might have found that weed if it was buried anywhere near the football field

Some South Cobb D-Lineman sent me through the Earth's crust during a lacrosse game one time and I almost ended up in China

I don't feel good about it. Not after the SECCG. I am hoping, but I am not feeling good about it.

As long as they dont play like they did in the SECCG and they can put a lot of pressure on BY, I'm somewhat confident but I've still got HOPE on my mind. So I'm not going to get too confident. Kirby needs to keep his foot on the gas during the second half. You'd think he would have learned this lesson already. But Go Dawgs!

I'm pretty nervous. Almost not looking forward to the game. I have been let down too many times. Still I went into the World Series and didn't give us any chance of beating Houston. So much at stake. Will be the highest of highs Tuesday morning for Dawgnation or a low place.

Same ole "hoping for the best but expecting the worst"...

You get my age you're happy to get the chance to see your team have a shot at another Natty .

Like CKS or not, he's got us there again and I appreciate what he's done and the level he's elevated the program to.

This comes from a old fart who can remember Johnny Griffth as our HBC and Ed Thelinius as the play by play guy...

Hopeful but also in the section of hard to buy in until I see it one time.

I am pulling positive vibes from the Braves. Dodgers = Bama...had our number, mentally and physically, just have to get over the hump
