What makes any of you goofballs think I'd go there with any of you? You guys always ask me for pics - How about posting some of your own? What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

I started my Ruth Bader Ginsberg workouts back up this year. I'm really close to being able to post pics of myself, but I'm not quite there yet.

I'm quite confident you'd want nothing to do with me. Been using my looks and personality to hold the ladies at bay for years now. So far, with a few exceptions, it's worked like a charm.

People might actually want to see yours. Willing to bet large sums of money no one - even non-traditionally inclined males - would want to see mine, or, if they did, would subsequently regret having done so. An Adonis, I am not.
More realistically, if people are busting your chops about stuff like that, it means that you're accepted as "one of the guys" and you're just getting slagged/banter as a result.

I kind of figured that but it took a long time for it to get that way. I know how guys are especially when it comes to sports. Gotta have thick skin to hang out with you guys.
And I know football better than some think. Just not into the intricate details like some (recruiting, etc).

Some people just don't like bad news, or even potential bad news, so they take it out on the messenger.

Recruiting details have nothing in common with football knowledge. You do well understanding the play on the field and the sideline and locker room. and when you don't, you ask rather than bluster. Shows good sense. You're ok.

Not really. You were accepted pretty early on. You have to consider, this site was around back in at least 2002 (I think that’s when I joined). It only recently came under Chicken’s wing (pun intended) and then we all had to pretty much start over from scratch. In its original form, it’s tagline was “the forum that intends to offend.” Lots of people have come and gone in that time. Many were never really “accepted” as they were blatant idiots. That doesn’t describe you, so you’re in good shape.
Your posts and updates are always welcome. You’re one of the very few who has managed to keep the sports/football board on-topic during downtime, so kudos on that. It will be a little slow on football news here shortly, so anything you contribute is going to be appreciated. As one of our few females, you’ll have to get used to the banter that comes along with that. All it really means is you’ve endeared yourself to the board. That’s a good thing.

You forgot to include the chapter about when all the cool-guys on here that would bitch about Chicken’s board and its oppression, and how much they hated certain posters here, and how it wasn’t super duper cool and awesome like “old” Dawg Rant was....... So, they all went off to start a brand new super duper cool Dawg Rant board where anything goes.....but, oops, it turned out to be about as fresh and super duper cool as a clogged toilet, so one by one, they all crawled back here to the GSB with their tails between their legs. And pretended the whole thing never happened. Even AssGasDawg.

No, this was a different one. Nobody shut it down, it just died of lameness and boredom.
That might be why you never heard about it. I guess the people that tried to make it their new home are probably pretty embarrassed about the failure and ashamed about coming back here with their tails between their legs after trashing Chicken and his board so badly. That’s probably why nobody talks about it.
It’s also probably why you don’t hear all the chest thumping about how cool “old dawg rant” was anymore like you used to. Because they tried reviving it, but the GSB ended up winning. It’s all very poetic.
