I didn’t say anything about automatic. I just mean that that penalty should be on the table.

Have you ever heard of a player being seriously punished for a reckless driving charge?

I do think racing should be automatic.

So every kid clocked 15 over should be thrown off the team?

Automatics are stupid, reminds me of the low iq AD we had that got caught drunk driving with his mistress in Buckhead.

Judge every case on the merits and make a decision. Much like felonies, tlsome should absolutely be dismissed from the team while others are just being over charged.

This story just gets worse and worse. What a horrible situation for all the families to have to keep re-living this situation.

Shame on the powers that be to not just let sleeping dogs lie on this. Death is punishment enough and grief is enough.

Why are staffers driving players around with a BAC almost twice the legal limit?

As a former hostess, I think I can answer this one. At 2:30 in the morning, she wasn’t acting in an official capacity for UGA. She was simply out partying with players and as you probably understand, at that age, after a few drinks you have no problem getting behind the wheel.

Wait, where did you see him fleeing police? I haven’t read every single story, but I didn’t see anything about that in the police report. Have to imagine they would have charged him with fleeing. They don’t like that shite.

I think part of nil and collective should be a slush fund for UBer or Yourcab etc... God it would save a lot of headaches, heck contract with one of them on account.

They aren't poor.

They are making poor decisions.

It comes with being young, being drunk, and having money (feeling invincible at that age)

I don’t discredit that… even in my time, long before Uber…players, recruits, anyone associated with the program we had a coach tell us, we know y’all gonna go out and party but call one of us if you’re out and drink, don’t drive whatever you do. I’m sure the same offer is presented to them today.

15 over is wreckless driving which could be considered racing if another car is involved.

Slow down or use cruise control, then. It isn't hard not to drive like a jackass and we shouldn't be making excuses for those who do.
