How does Bama have 26 recruits counted on 247?

I'm not up to speed, is this the final 247 recruiting rankings for the 2020 cycle? Right now it has us at #2, but, I feel like if we sign Evans that could put us at #1.

Also, when is the last day a player has to commit to a school?

Not final. Georgia is probably signing 3 more.

If they get a five star and two 4 stars they could jump Bama if Bama doesn’t sign any more. But I don’t know what their cap is this year.

Interesting. Our point total actually dropped a bit yet we moved up a spot. Clemson must have had some recruits drop, or did they have somebody decommit?

Bama is ahead of us by only 1 point. We can sign a kicker and be #1.

It could go either way, depends on what Broderick Jones does but if we can hold on to him and Van Pran and then add maybe McConkey and Evans then we'd be #1

It's almost impossible to tell how it will go because everybody will be getting more players. Right now McKinley Jackson is out there and could go to Alabama. Burch could go to LSU. (I think Burch sticks with South Carolina, but it is possible that he goes with LSU)

There are a lot of big players still in play right now so it's hard to say who we need to put us over the top.

Alabama is probably adding McKinley (DT) he is a mid 4 star. They will probably win the rankings by one point final according to my math.....unless we add Evans. Which is doubtful in my mind.

Same here but you never know when it comes to Evans, and I'm not sure they would add him to the point total anyway, since he can't sign a LOI. I mean, he could commit all he wants but there is nothing to hold him to whoever he commits to until he enrolls, and he won't be enrolling until the summer, I think?

However, you never know when it comes to Kirby. he could pull an unexpected player that could put us over the top....or Alabama could miss on McKinley, or who knows what else could happen.

Auburn fans are kind of like Tennessee fans. Their #1 goal right now is to get any kind of victory over UGA. Even a BS troll post is considered a win. And judging from the posts lately on the UGA 247 board, about half of them have a membership over there too, as Georgia fans.

I don't know anything about Broderick Jones' intentions, but reading what Auburn fans say about it is worthless.

Thing about Jones is that he isn’t going to waiver until something makes him do that. If NSD were tomorrow, he’d sign with Georgia. Question was always going to come down to if the Georgia visit could cement things and/or if the Auburn visit could sway him. Both sides just have to let it play out and see what happens next Wednesday

There is no rational reason for Jones to pick Auburn over UGA. With UGA, he gets 1) better university, 2) better program, 3) better town, 4) closer to home, 5) a top 3 recruiting class, and 6) chance to start at LT or at the very least, play major snaps as a freshman.

The only issue is that kids at this age aren't always rational.

Entertain the idea that Jones is a Dawg already.

I just don't see Jones going anywhere else. He has the chance to walk into a spot as the next Andrew Thomas. Who turns that down?

For that matter I don't see how Evans goes elsewhere. UGA is hands down the best option for both.

This is exactly what I think whenever a kid commits to Auburn over UGA
