Nobody has said anything about the huge mistake that Monroe Freeling made. For the second year in a row, he made a disastrous error blocking the edge rusher. Last year he just got totally beaten. This year he just didn’t even block his guy, he double teamed with 56 on his guy and let the edge rusher sprint straight in and blow up Gunner. I believe that was fourth down, we turn the ball over on a short field.
Also, Peyton Woodring left a makeable (for him) FG way short. Not to say it was a layup, but he makes that kick 8 times out of 10. Their guy makes it from 55 and 56. We didn’t.

Going from, at one point, future number one overall pick to 15th at your position can get you rated as mediocre.

The worst thing to happen to OU is UGA beating Bama 28-7. OU thought Bama was a pushover and didn’t follow through with the Hard to Kill mentality.

I’m passed the part of “well he changed his mind, that happens”. Kirby and crew did totally right by the kid and he totally screws them (us) by waiting until the very last minute to say “yeah, all that stuff I told you over the last two years where I said I love you and I see my future at UGA, and my mom said she wanted me to go to UGA? Screw that, I’m going to another team in your conference, because I’m so great I would never sit for 1-2 years and submit to your overbearing coaching. And, you’re welcome for me considering to use some Vaseline when I screwed you, but I decided, piss off, I’m Nashville bound”. OL, DB, there are multiple recruits at each position. But QB? There’s only one each year. He just flipped a bird right in Kirby’s face.
