I’d be interested to hear opinions positive and negative on both Jackson and Jones. I’ve heard Jackson was a big Jeb Bush supporter. I don’t know much about Jones other than he’s the Lt. Governor and his daddy has a LOT of money.

I went to the doubleheader today. Lots of fun, great weather, the Dawgs played great. First game was packed, second game thinned out a good bit. Good day to be in Athens. Lots of activity all over campus.

Nobody has said anything about the huge mistake that Monroe Freeling made. For the second year in a row, he made a disastrous error blocking the edge rusher. Last year he just got totally beaten. This year he just didn’t even block his guy, he double teamed with 56 on his guy and let the edge rusher sprint straight in and blow up Gunner. I believe that was fourth down, we turn the ball over on a short field.
Also, Peyton Woodring left a makeable (for him) FG way short. Not to say it was a layup, but he makes that kick 8 times out of 10. Their guy makes it from 55 and 56. We didn’t.
