I think Jaylen Brown is going to end up at Kentucky. They offered him late, but he is intrigued by the volume of NBA players that come out of Lexington. It sucks, because he is easily one of the top players to come out of the state in a longtime. Rosemond definitely helps since they have a prior relationship in AAU ball. We shall see

Giddens does like UGA, but loves Thad Matta even more. He is announcing his decision in a week, and I’d be surprised if it wasn't Ohio St.

The good news.... Tevin Mack and Malik Beasley are huge UGA leans at the moment. If I had to guess, we end up with these two. Not a bad consolation prize if we miss on Giddens and Brown.

I really think UGA will get 1 of the 2 superstars form the state of Georgia. Yes, I said it, superstars. Both of these players are elite of the elite when it comes to basketball talent. Jaylen Brown needs to improve his jumpshot and Giddens needs to add a little weight, but they are excellent prospects.

My gut tells me Brown goes to UK and Giddens stays home. If I had to choose between the 2, I would probably take Brown. At this point in time, OSU does lead for Giddens and UK does lead for Brown but it's not an overwhelming lead. They're not 100% locks like all the nut Jobs on 247 claim they are. There's been interviews where both players have said they are intrigued even more towards UGA since the hiring of Rosemond. 95% chance with Mack IMO. 80% on Beasley. I would love to add Shwantrez Davis (sp?) but something tells me he will end up at UTK or AU.

I really hope you’re right. Jaylen is an athletic freak, excellent around the rim and on-ball defender. If he can develop a consistent jump shot, he is going to be a top 5 pick. However, I prefer Giddens, because we struggle to recruit big men. The guy has a polished post game for a high schooler, and the potential is endless. We need a big man to rebound and protect the rim. It allows the guards to be aggressive.
