About the WR's, why haven't we offered Chris Herndon from Norcross? This kid projects as a TE, but he is 6-4 218 and plays WR for them. He blocks well and has speed. Looks good on tape and is lined up against DB's most of the time. He is FAST! Attended our camp, but no offer? He has offers from Miami and Mississippi State, committed to Miami, but Georgia, Auburn and FSU didn't offer after he went to camp. This kid jumps out of the screen on film and seams to be more of a "gamer" than a guy who jumps out at camps. I like him and think he could be a good player with collegiate development.

I haven't seen anything on him. It's probably because he's a tweener and we were higher on Malone and Brown plus we're tight on numbers this year.

I always laugh as bit at guys criticizing coaches of School D after some kid comes out saying that school A, B. and C are recruiting him the hardest. The coaches are the ones sitting in the kid's living room. I am going to go with their interpretation of his response to the pitch. In this case, as soon as AU started doing well, UGA knew it would take a stun gun and a forklift to get that kid out Auburn, AL. They can certainly still waste their time on him, but I agree with their assessment to spend that finite time on a target they are more likely to get. It is called triage. You let the ones dying get on with dying so you can save the ones that have a chance. Just look at how they have treated Tyler Carr, another Bama boy with AU ties. They have continued to recruit him hard because they feel he is still listening to what they are selling.

I just read somewhere that we're going after more juco DBs. Anyone have a clue why that is?

Instant depth? Maybe Swann is considering jumping? (would be dumber than any Geathers brother leaving early).

How about Richt uses that fatherly shite we hang on to and takes them by the hearth and tells him about that time he had to wait his turn to control the lemonade stand or something

Idc about their attitudes, we need depth god dammit.

Also, wasn't Dawson rumored to be transferring?

Ok, how is Alabama loaded at RB and every other position while only a few outliers have ever considered transferring and Georgia has a litany of kids who wanna transfer after one fricking year?

Am I alone with the outrage here? I feel like I usually am but how in the hell does this happen? There's no way Georgia is only finding the kids who don't wanna compete while other schools have kids who wanna fight for it? I think it has gotta be a common denominator thing here...

I mean it HAS to be something, right? Is it Grantham? Is it our lack of success? Is it Richt? Are all these players not getting laid enough? Are we not paying high enough outside benefits?

How does something like this happen? I really hope it's just message board banter because if it happens then sweet christ what are we doing with ourselves...
