Are we gonna base Ellis Johnson's work at DC off of his first year at AU only? Guy was solid as hell at USCe even if he was awful as a HC.

There is already a 4 page thread on Ellis Johnson you should chime in on. Just in case you forgot.

I did, I ended up saying I'd rather us stick with the 3-4 if we went another route

Shakenneth Williams, 6'2 4* WR who averaged over 24 yards per catch this year. In previous posts there have been a few people in here whining about UGA's WR recruiting. I have been hearing some good things from sources in the area. If we pull Nate Brown(17.8 ypc), with Shakenneth Williams=mission accomplished

I cannot stand our coaching staff and I haven't liked them in years but I keep my anti-coach spamming at least somewhat regulated and even that is still probably too much. Your incessant bitching almost makes me look content.

Excited about the skill positions but we still need elite OL recruits. An epic line can make a mediocre QB/RB look like a heisman candidate. A mediocre OL can make a heisman caliber QB/RB look mediocre. I've been excited about skill players before only to be disappointed because the line can't consistently open the opportunities. I want to get excited about OL and DL recruits for a change. If the OL were a little better, TGII might look like #34.

2015 5* DT Trent Thompson was named the #1 prospect in the nation by Rivals today. He's a Georgia lean right now and has openly said we're his top school.

Anyone care to predict how many of the kids in the Top 100 we snag next year? I count 12 kids from Ga on the list. Two are already committed to other schools. Taj Griffin is going to be hard to sign since we're bringing in two top RBs this year.

I know rivals is crap, but at least it's some recruiting news.

If Griffin's smart, however, he'll have paid attention to this year and realize that anything can happen. You're only one play away from strapping it up and getting fed the ball.

I believe he's a military brat though so I'm not sure how solid his roots are in Ga.

What site are you looking that has 12? Just curious.

I'm going to guess 5 out of 10 from 247 composite in the top 100. #3 DT Trent Thompson(Albany), #19 ATH Terry Godwin(Hogansville), #73 OT Chuma Edoga(Powder Springs), #86 DE Arden Key(Lithonia), and #90 DE D'Andre Walker(Fairburn).

Gotcha. Well I'll add WR Christian Owens to that list then.

Yep, and you can probably say for sure that the Sandy Creek RB isn't coming either.

Rashaan Evans tells 247 that Auburn has a "slight edge" over Bama, UCLA, Georgia & Ole Miss. He has one OV done already, and that was to UCLA. He mentions that a school has to win his folks over, too, not just him, but says Auburn, Bama & UCLA are recruiting him the hardest right now.

More OVs could come in January, but none are scheduled. He says that he could commit on the spot if a school feels right.
