One high school coach was quoted as saying he has the potential to have an impact in year one at most any school in the southeast. Said he was head and shoulders better than Kendarius Webster.
He was offered by AU today, wasn't he? I'm sure he grabbed some more attention after he dropped his commitment from UCF. :dunno:

We could literally have Reggie Davis left at WR after this year. frick
We should have Malcolm Mitchell back after next year with his medical redshirt. We will still have Tibbs, Reggie Davis, JSW, Uriah Lemay and Terry (maybe switch back?) in 2015. We have Shakenneth, Johnson and now Rico coming in this year. We will be fine at receiver in 2015 with 8-9 guys and that's if we pick up a few good WR's next year.
We could bring engineers and architects in to improve the sound, much cheaper than expanding the stadium. The materials used to project hep project the sound better would be much more efficient than building new sections or expanding. It could make SS the loudest in the SEC without having to add capacity. This gives us much more recognition than being the largest. Louder is better than larger in football. That's my opinion, but I'm sure some will not agree.
Seattle's stadium has given them more recognition than anything this season (besides Sherman), so innovate off what the competition is doing and use our resources in a better way. With the web presence and television what it is today, people don't want to go to games that do not offer a unique experiance. If we could claim the loudest stadium in the SEC "title" it would put more butts in the seats. Dawg nation would have a stadium and atmosphere to be more proud of than the biggest one in the SEC. That doesn't matter anymore and Seattle's business plan has proven it.

Bama uses lockers for season ticket holders. They can stock whatever they want in the "lockers" and that is how they get around the al-ki-hawl in BDS. I'm sure our scholarship donors and boosters get the same luxury, but it would be nice to do something like this for the fans.
Also, they could do something with the lights, since they hang over the stadium a bit. We could expand the lighting system farther over the stands and enclose it somehow. I'm not saying cover the damn thing, but do something like the Hawks. This could help increase noise and give a "Seattle" effect. Some kind of "classy" canopy that extends the lights around the top of the stadium's upper deck. We could still keep the bridge open and just enclose the horseshoe a little with it. This would be cheaper than expanding and would help with the fan acoustics. IDK?

JUCO guys usually don't get 5* ratings from what I have seen over the years. The best JUCO guys usually get 3-4*s.

It is really never a good thing for recruits to visit Ole Miss late. Thank the Lord that SF isn't visiting anymore!

I will say this though, I can easily see it being a blessing for cancer patients to lessen the nausea associated with chemo therapy, etc.
Mother in-law has stage 4 cancer and her problem is not eating. When she is sick, she loses her appetite. They stay nauseated, but the loss of appetite makes me agree that pot would be a miracle drug here. It's pretty dumb that people who actually "need" to use an herb that helps with cancer, can't use something grown on God's green earth, because Uncle Sam says so.

I thought that gimmicky, high-school offense wouldn't work in the SEC? And now that offense is the reason Tre Mason was so successful? What about Mike Dyer? Ben Tate? Did you miss Tre Mason last season? Where he rushed for 1,000 yards in that abortion of an offense Scot Loeffler put together?
Come on, people.
Mason definitely aided by his offense. No other offense would give their feature back 317 carries in a season. It doesn't happen at any other SEC school. In the SEC, only 4 backs had over 200 carries, with Rajion Neal leading the way at 215. Yelden had 207 and the other two had 203. So, Mason gets over 100 more carries in Auburn's offense, than any other SEC school. Yeah I think that aided his totals. I will say that it is amazing he withstood that workload!!
I didn't know that he had started something over SECrant. So I was a little confused. Thanks for posting it over there Rig. I never look at the SEC rant. If I had understood that he wasn't just being a dick, I would have definitely backed him up. Sorry for the confusion! Thanks for clearing this up. Go Dawgs

PADAAWGJR DO YOU SEE THIS GOD DAMN LINK YOU DUMB MOTHERfrickER?
I'm bored, so lets see what the SECR thinks about it.
I predict Bama fans will admit that he's a beast... while LSU and Auburn fans will make jokes about him being too soft and injury prone... while Cock fans accuse our staff of running him into the ground like their staff did to Lattimore.
I was responding to your FIRST post in the thread!! Not the 4th post in the thread. The thread had not made 4 posts when I was responding. When I submitted it there were more than 4 posts. Is that hard to understand?
Whatever dude. It was a mistake. What are you a complete as$hole?
I responded to your initial post, before the LINK was posted. I didn't submit until later in the thread (at work). Sorry, I didn't see it. It was a stat that makes Gurley look better than Mason. Why do you have to be an arse about everything?
It was a comparison of total yards per play against a Heisman candidate. What the hell is wrong with that? Why are you such an arse?
What the frick are you talking about?

I guess that's kind what I was trying to do with posting the Stanford videos etc. You can kind of draw comparisons from our video, to some of the other programs around the country. No, I have never been to UGA workout but any novice fan can see the results on the field.
Football strength does not come from just being able to lift a car. It comes from having strength in leverage. Being strong when you are low, is different from being strong when standing up. So, training to get stronger in leverage skills makes teams like Stanford appear stronger, because they focus on leverage in S&C. Just like a wrestler beating a stronger opponent. They use technique and leverage as their strength, not strong like benching a car.
Strength in balance prevents non-contact knee injuries, like JSW and MM. 99% of non-contact ACL tears come from making a cut and landing wrong. Balance is key, because it teaches players to land properly and cut properly. They can make a hard cut or leap over a defender, without landing wrong and causing damage. It's just like throwing a cat in the air and them landing on their feet. It comes for the extraordinary balance.

Gurley had 7.1 Yards per touch and that is better than Mason's 6.9. Mason played 14 games TG3 played in 10. When you look at the numbers...
Gurley: Total Yards (1,430) / (202) Total Touches = 7.1 Per Touch
Mason: Total Yards (2,374) / (344) Total Touches = 6.9 Per Touch
***Mason also had 396 Kick Return Yards*** and 15 KR touches factored into these numbers, so if you take out KR Yds (Gurley had none) you get this...
Mason: 2374 - 396 = 1,978 and 329 Touches without KR's.
Mason Corrected: Total Yds (1,978) / (329) Total Touches = 6.03
Mason now has 6.03 Yards per touch and Gurley still has 7.1 :spank:

Buck, I understand that Coach T may be a good UGA guy and an assistant for years. But he was promoted from within and you have to be blind to not see the difference on the field under his direction. He served as our video coordinator for years and we somehow always seem to be unprepared in games? I don't want to have to worry about our player's being out of "football" shape and unprepared over the next few years. This season is vital to our success moving forward and I think CMR and CJP understand this. They will have to address the injuries, unprepared players in games and players seemingly out of shape this year.
This should be the first thing we do in a new era of UGA football. Pruitt will have some input with his experience at, what is considered to be the best S&C program in the country, and I hope he opens CMR up on this issue. I have no problem with keeping Joe T on board, but we could bring someone in to run the S&C that has a more innovative approach to today's football S&C practices. It has to be a football oriented program and I think when you look at programs like UCF, MSU, or even Stanford we see that we could easily get an up and coming S&C coordinator for the money we pay Joe T. That's what I'm getting at.
OT: UCF has been amazing in rush defense over the past 4-5 years. I would like to get their LB coach Summers. Here are the result's in stats RushD

We are exactly like this! CMR takes 2-4 games away from a kid who gets caught smoking a joint, after the season is over. LSU lets their kids smoke all season and puts their best player's on the field no matter what. Where is the standard? There isn't one and it sucks! If UGA has a standard, the conference and the NCAA should STICK to the standard!
