quote:The general feeling has been that McMillan will end up at one of four schools, Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia or Clemson. But according to one of my sources, Georgia will stay in the race simply because McMillan grew up a Bulldog fan. But the source said he doesn’t really think Georgia is in the running. The source went on to say that McMillan might be “trending” to Alabama a little, but the source still feels the Buckeyes have the edge
Not shooting the messenger,
but that is the quintessential example of saying nothing. The guy actually gets paid to write this stuff?

Not sure how credible he was thanks for the heads up

I'm not saying he's not but that's not exclusive knowledge about RM.

He's the OSU recruiting writer for 247. He doesn't have shite for contacts in south Georgia

Rashaan Evans...
quote:
“I love the coaching staff at Georgia,’ Evans said. “Todd Grantham, Mark Richt, those are my guys. My dad and I spent a lot of time talking to Richt and the staff during my last visit and we really hit it off. They ask me about my family, they talk about their families, and they pretty much feel like family to me ow.Mark Richt is really approachable, easy-going and a great coach and that is why I like him. He is very different than Nick Saban. They have a great organization, they had a great season last year and I think they are definitely going to do it again this year.”
quote:LINK
“I would love to follow in the footsteps of what Jarvis Jones did,” Evans said. “That is what really caught my eye and pretty much the reason why I originally considered Georgia.”

quote:Ah, so he probably got his info from either RM or the Bama writer (which would explain comment about Bama making a move)

The way it's shaping up, we should finish with Malone, Evans, Shaw, Brown, and an outside shot is Carter and McMillan. But the 1st four guys for sure.

Agree, except I don't think Evans leaves his state. I'll go with Brown, Shaw, then Malone and if we get one of Carter or McMillan then I'll be more than happy with this class.

McMillan isn't coming to Georgia. The only reason he mentions Georgia is to keep the heat off from the home state fans. This is strictly a Bama, Ohio State battle.

He could come to UGA. Like Crow said, there's a chance, just not a big one.

If he is just blowing smoke, I can't say that I blame him, but I'd respect him more if he'd be upfront and say "I'm going out of state. Don't know where, but out of state."

Yeah, he has been looking for any reason possible to leave the state. If he wants to go, I will wish him a fond farewell and good luck, but I still question anyone's base intelligence if they choose Columbus, OH or Tuscaloosa, AL over Athens, GA as their home base for 3-5 years.

Why Tuscaloosa? You wouldn't want to win multiple national championships?
