3. Georgia goes to the SECCG and beats Alabama then they would more than likely end up playing Ohio State in the NCG, we all know how Georgia has done lately against mobile QB's.

You mean like Driskell last year? And if we play in the NCG we would have to beat Driskell and Shaw this year. I'm surprised at how often people keep saying something can't be done based upon past performance. It's a defeatest attitude....besides, Georgia will have a practically all new defense this year. You can't compare a new defense with what the old defense did.

As for the only way we sign the kid is win the Natty...not necessarily. Hopefully we win...but if we lose, but have a big year, that could be all it takes. He is not saying he is going to the winner of the Natty...just that it will take a contender, or someone with a chance.

Chad Simmons tweeted that he spoke with someone on the staff prior to his announcement, and that reading between the lines it sounds like there's a pretty good chance this wasn't entirely Nick's decision.

So with 16 committed and Austin no "longer" with the team, does that leave us with 6-7 spots available?

Austin is a SR. He will not help towards next years numbers. He will give a walk on a scholly for the season.

Were we ever in the discussion for Korie Rogers? We sure do have a hard time getting the kids from Buford to put on the Red & Black. I might be overlooking someone obvious, but perception seems to be reality, more often than not.

Rogers was actually considered to be a heavy UGA lean. His committing to Clemson was a bit of a shock.

I think there is a chance to flip Rogers if the season goes well.

That would be great. Of the committed guys I guess Rogers & McDowell might be called misses & imma not sure why we parted ways with Kitt...
We've got Parks on board, apparently Choice & Watson were never really in play for us for various reasons. Lets just get McMillan & Carter...
