Houston Rockets 3rd place in NBA regular season

I’m just excited that the future looks bright in Dallas for the first time in years.
Luka + Portzingis (aka the Eastern Bloc) plus cap room for a max deal (supposedly gonna go hard after Kemba Walker). Possibly a top 5 pick if we get lucky in the lottery.

I was actually looking forward to the whole "house divided" thing when we first started dating. Took her to the Toyota Center back in like 09 and bought her a rockets jersey since she's from Houston. She ended up liking my jersey better though and we sat next to some super nice Spurs fans and she was sold after learning more about Duncan.
I'm just happy she likes to go on basketball dates still Always go to a couple of games a year.

Harden has to win at least one title while he’s in his prime and the lead dog or he’ll never join that group. Hakeem, Timmy and Dirk all won titles and all did so as THE GUY. In fact, Hakeem in ‘94, Duncan in ‘03 and Dirk in ‘11 are 3 of the best individual playoff runs of all-time.
I still think of Hakeem and Dirk’s first titles as the two quintessential examples of a player being sick and tired of coming up short and single handily willing their teams to a title. They were just a force of nature during those runs, neither was the best player or team in the league those years but for 6 weeks in May/June they could not be stopped.
