It still blows my mind that they hired Shawn Watson and then Tim Beck. How did their boosters allow that. They saw first hand how trash Nebraska was with both of them. If you read their message boards too after they were announced there was very little backlash from their fans.

Kendall Bussey rushed for 123 and a TD as FCS Nichols St beat Kansas in OT. I'm guessing Beatty wishes he'd held out for a different HC gig. At least he beat Texas. That game still brings me such joy

The way their staff uses personnel is kind of baffling. That receiver, Collin Johnson I think is his name, will make some nice plays and then just disappear - sometimes for a game or two. Ingram, that Freshman RB looked pretty good in the first half - then he disappeared.
It's like they have some personnel packages and play sequences already mapped out, and they are gonna stick to it no matter what. A lot of teams script the 1st drive, but these guys seem very rigid.
MENSA man landed that job on the back of what Greg Ward could do at QB at Uofh. What they are trying to do with Ehlinger, though, looks nothing like that. I suspect he thinks it was his superior coaching acumen that was responsible for his scuccess at UofH, not Ward.
