Our lineup next year:

Starks/Gilder
Gilder/Chandler/Jones
Flagg/Walker
Nebo
Jasey

Not Melvin bad, but without some more post help we won't win more than 6-7 conference games. Davis staying is really the only hope.

This probably won't help your attitude. Alcohol may be the only answer. For the season, A&M wimmens are 77.7% FT shooters. Men are 66.4%.

Smaller ball

NCAAM FT averages would go way up with the ball after a little practice. It's crazy the nonsense that ends up going in in the women's game.

One inch? OK, maybe that accounts for it.

But you miss the point of the post, which was to give WestCoastAg an aneuryism.

9-4 to close out the conference schedule, great job of coaching by Kennedy to keep these guys in it this season.

Why were we in a position to need to "stay in it" with the best roster in the conference?

The only non-former 4 star upperclassman we have starting is a top-10 lotto pick. This team is stacked.

oh yea. Throwing Starks out there in the final two minutes of the game when Starks was having a prime early season Starks game, while sitting Rob for waaaayyyy too long, was great coaching

So it's official? We'd play Auburn if we beat Alabama Thursday?

Easily one of the most favorable matchups for TAMU for RD2 game. It will be interesting what happens in game 2 though, to see if TAMu can repeat what worked in the first game especially with Wilson out. McLemore being out definitely hurts AU but AU does get Brown back for 2H more than likely

TAMU's guard play disrupted Auburn's season-long "successful" strategy of aggressively denying entry into the post. While this strategy suffers from a number of high% post looks, it is offset by a huge reduction in usage rate for opposing big men + TOs created by trying to force it inside

To give you an idea, through 10 minutes of the AU v TAMU game, Williams/Davis combined for only 2 points (6pts through 15min). It wasn't until TJ Starks/Wilson/Gildner disrupted that strategy that Davis/Williams got going, as AU players shifted focus to the guards

It's not clear that AU can be effective with this strategy without McLemore, even less likely against a team like TAMU. That said, the TAMU guard play is likely to suffer missing

Just to make a point on the reduction in usage rate, in SEC play ~80% of opposing big men saw their usage rate/KenPom Possession% when playing AU (Includig Williams/Davis/Trocha) despite having a major size advantage. Nearly ~65% saw their possession% get cut by approximately 20%

Doubtful but possible. I say we win today and lose to Auburn. NCAAT depends on match up.
