My completely uneducated guess is Overton

With our RB room I don't see the justification for the risk

He is a huge upgrade over any back on the roster not named achane and wed immediately have the best tandem in the country. And hes not a work horse back like Spiller and, if anything, would welcome splitting carries with achane. Its what he did at TCU
If evans wants to come, we would absolutely take him. And we should. Hes really really really good

Evans is a stud. If he’s been fine at TCU you take him all day. Him and Achane is an elite combo

The Athletic did a really good piece on Denver Harris’s recruiting and brought up Zach Evans’s recruiting. They mentioned that a lot of schools were pressuring him to commit during the early signing period when all he wanted to do was concentrate on North Shore’s playoff run so I can get how it would mess up an 18 year old. We need to remember that these are still kids making a lifetime decision.

Lol if I remember correctly he didn't even play in the final due to some issue with his coach and got kicked off the team. If anything I'm sure he was having bad guidance from his brother but that sounds like a poor excuse for how messed up his recruitment was

North Shore’s coach admitted that Evans was suspended because the pressure of signing early was getting to him and he couldn’t handle it. North Shore’s coach and Harris both admitted that it was starting to get to Harris too.

He was 18, if you were freaking out about a lifetime decision wouldn’t you listen to your family?

That's not what I said, but his brother obviously was not acting in his best interest

The brother might have been active on social media, but Perroni said he had very little to do with his actual recruitment.

Anybody else watching UA practice? Walter Nolan killing everyone. PJ Williams is long and lanky and really good. Needs to gain 50 pounds but what a good looking athlete. Dewberry looks really good and I think he could play RT soon. Stewart and Marshall should make everyone excited on the ouside, both really fast.

Anderson was the 2nd fastest in all the races. Taylor got major praise after day 1 too. This group is really freaking good.
