Three years or less for an sec title? your program has the talent there so there shouldn't be any rebuilding. whats your expectations?

4 to 5 years for me. 3 years for a NY6 bowl. Change doesn't happen overnight unlike what these millennials like to think. We have talent but it's behind Bama, LSU, and Georgia until he starts brining in more highly ranked classes that fit his schemes

With the kind of money y'all just threw at him I would think he needs two national titles to be considered a successful hire. If Texas makes an NY6 bowl before a&m I could see things getting heated real quick

Now you are trolling us, 2 national titles in 10 years to be a success at 7.5 per year?

This is the new spin from the national media. "He's paid a lot so anything less than national titles means him and your school are failures." Lol, swamp kitty and everyone else is just urinating down their own leg

while it would be disappointing, I truly do think he can still be considered a successful hire even if we don’t get a natty. Now he would need at least a couple of conference titles during his time here and be in the CFP a time or two, but if he has us averaging 10+ wins a season like at FSU then he will be doing a good job.

Timeline? Sumlin didn’t leave him an empty cupboard by any stretch but our recruiting numbers haven’t alway told the whole story, he’s got some positions to shore up and deepen so I’m willing to give him benefit of the doubt for 2-4 years to let him build his system.

Needing a minimum of two nattys is just down right silly. If he were to win even one it would cement his legacy as one of the very few to do it at multiple schools. After saban and Meyer, most coaches who even do have one, only have one.

yeah, that's kind of silly.

It's a huge revenue business where the players get nothing. The money is pouring into facilities and coaches. We've spent enormously on facilities already.

And unless you expect the AD is going to start paying a dividend, you buy a fricking coach.

Not trolling at all. Aside from Fisher, how many coaches are making 7.5 a year?

I don't think he needs to win a Natty. He needs to make the playoff and win the SEC multiple times.

No, the question is how many will be making that much in the next 1-2 years

Fisher is only the 4th highest paid coach and by the end of next year he will probably
Be the 7th or 8th highest paid, by the end of December he may be the 6th highest paid coach, several big programs have yet to make a hire

Umm... For what we are paying him? Yea, if he doesn't win a national title he's a failure overall. Sorry if that's a cold splash of water for some of y'all.

Nothing? Perhaps not WHAT they want or ALL they want, but far from nothing. So weary hearing about poor downtrodden players. Many go into debt to get their "nothing"

Will I was right, you are now paying Kelley 9.5 million a year guaranteed for 10 years.

Buy your own standard you should be guaranteed to win 3 national titles
