No worries. I'd probably have had a heart attack by now if I got as worked up over Aggie baseball and basketball as I do over football.

There’s a team across the Sabine that does all kinds of scummy shite and that’s swept under the rug constantly, so I’m not worried about people waving the morally just flag at me. Personally idc about the opinions of others about my team, if we’re the villains so be it

I don’t have a problem with this at all. Right now it is smoldering coals. If Petrino works out for the upcoming year, great. Just proof that Fisher should have a full time OC.

If it all goes up in a raging fire, that’s fine as long as the end result is Fisher is finished at A&M.

Personally I think it was going to take someone with a strong personality like Petrino to be the OC.. not just a title… but the real OC. Petrino will battle with Fisher if he tries to tell him what to do. He isn’t going to put up with Fisher trying to pull the strings.

Im more than fine with this hire. I don’t give a frick what anyone else thinks… especially the tards on the Rant.

5-7
8-5
10-3
11-2

4-8

All I need to know about Petrino. Record over 4 years in the SEC with Arky talent. Record year 5 after he was fired with the same qb and rb as 11-2 year.

He also went 8-5, 9-4, 8-5 w/Lamar Jackson as his QB

To be fair, we’d gladly take the points they put up in most of those losses.

True - with some bad losses.

Overall, I think we offer him better resources than he had at Louisville and more overall talent than just Lamar.

Is there any speculation about more staff changes? It feels like we are more than an OC away from getting in the ballpark of CFP contention.

I'm more surprised he left TCU at all when it seemed like he just needed one more good year to launch himself into the HC ranks. Maybe he doesn't like what the TCU roster will look like next year.

Line could be an issue but I think they're going ham in the portal. It's almost a certainty they regress from one of the best offenses of the nation, because that's really hard to achieve, so yeah maybe it's better to dip too early than too late.

TCU has reached their peak. It's downhill from here.

Garrett knows his offense doesn't work against teams like Georgia, Alabama, or LSU. So the best destination is Clemson. They have SEC-like talent but play worse competition than he has faced in the Big12.

It's a calculated career move.

So who will Bobby/Jimbo bring in as the new RB coach?

I wish we would have gone after Rashaad Samples. Could probably still get him from Arizona State if you wanted it bad enough.

Was coming here to post pretty much the same thing. Dude gets a raise and knows he’s moving into a good situation.

Even when texas and ou leave the big 12, TCU will still be on even par in recruiting with a lot of the other teams like tech and Baylor in terms of talent brought in. By going to Clemson he will be on the team with the most talent in the ACC by a mile, fsu does look like they are improving, but outside of them there’s no other teams that recruit close to Clemson in that conference. Smart move on his part.

Santucci going to Duke to be Elko's DC. That strikes me as great news for A&M.

Something doesn't add up in that move. Elko seems to be someone that knows his stuff but he is hiring a guy that most say is one of the weaker links on our staff? Both can't be right, guess we'll see how things go at Duke in the next couple of years. My bet is Elko is right.

I’d also point out Elko is a defensive guy, he’s gonna have his hand in whatever they run. Which could mask some of the issues Santucci has, just a thought
