Hopefully not bad injuries and we don’t quit after this game like Sumlin teams did.

Game will be within a score at the half. Bama will pull away and we will lose by 3 scores.

I will say, in terms of relative talent gap, BYU beating Wisconsin was at least as big of an upset as us beating Bama would be. That was shocking, 23 point underdogs.

It’s possible I suppose. It would be the most surprising win in my 24 years watching Aggie football though, surpassing the 2009 Tech and 2014 Auburn games.

It would even surpass 2012 Bama. That game there were already rumblings of a Manziel-led upset being a possibility. That is not the case this season. Which is ok. We'll lose, but we need to show some of the same fight from the Clemson game and we'll be ok, perception-wise.

Bama is as dominant as the 1995 Nebraska team.

As it happens, their new deep threat ability sits directly across from our weakness against the deep ball. This is as bad a matchup of strengths/weaknesses that we have seen being in The SEC.

So with that said, Bama by 24.

2012 wasn’t all that surprising in hindsight. Our offense was white hot after laying 1300 yards and 100 points combined on MSU and Auburn, and by the end of the season we were the best team in CFB. Bama also always has that one slip up every year under Saban it seems where they lay an egg on defense, it just happened to be us that year.

The problem is this year, with that offense, they will still probably win any shootout they find themselves in. Ole Miss could have scored 30+ yesterday and it wouldn’t have mattered a bit.

IDK about that. That team’s average margin of victory was over 30 PPG and they throttled a Florida team in the NC game that was probably one of the 10 best teams ever in their own right. They ran for something like 400 YPG.

I want to point out that Auburn is not the unbeatable team that many of you have been acting like so far this year. Even if we go down to Bama I feel better about the rest of the season. Auburn, State, LSU all very mortal. And which one of you was going on about ole miss? lol @ that.
