When are y'all doing the baseball thread?

Whenever Farmer starts it, he’s the baseball guy. Should be soon tho, I’d imagine he’s waiting till a week or so before we get rolling

I am excited we got our tickets to the weekend series

Looking forward to baseball. I've made preliminary plans for Omaha just in case - can sell if necessary. You just never know what will happen, and I might just go regardless of whether A&M makes it or not. I have some LSU friends that wanted to go
We should be pretty damned good, but so will LSU and Tennessee.

Who knows, that mental midget is the perfect representation of Orangebloods posters though. The rant has no idea what’s coming.

Mexico isn’t that unsafe if you stay in the touristy areas, you’ll be fine.
Board is kinda dead these days. Not much football to talk after the abysmal season, but surprisingly it seems like people don’t have much to chat about with our good basketball and hopefully good baseball teams. But seems like spring is always like this for the board and then it picks back up over the summer.

I mean... it's the OT thread right? I guess you could talk about anything in here so it doesn't really have to relate to sports. Activity will pick up during March Madness so don't worry about it.
I was gonna ask what are y'alls top 5 TV shows cause I need filler at work

Mexico City
Some of the best tacos I've had were just across the street from the Airport at Mexico City (the old airport, not the "new" one built by their current commie president). Maybe it was because I was extremely hungry, but damn they were good. We were recommended going there by an airport worker. That alleyway is where all the airport employees, pilots, and crews go for a quick bite.
Having said that, not many tourists go there and the vendors wouldn't pass any type of western health inspection.
Proceed at your own risk.

frick it, if they're good, I'll eat it
My travel wishlist would be (at least in North America and not the US):
Toronto
Vancouver
Montreal
Mexico City
Guadalajara
Monterrey
Basically every inch of the Dominican Republic

Never been to Mexico City but hear lots of stories about kidnappings and ransom
Don’t stay up late at night, always be with other people and staying in areas that are popular in crowded and you’re probably fine
I haven’t watched Yellowstone, but I highly recommend the prequel 1883

These are just the ones I've most recently watched:
1.) "Sweet Home" on Netflix
2.) "The Last of Us" on HBO Max
3.) "Spy x Family" on Crunchyroll
4.) "Alice in Borderland" on Netflix
5.) "Hunter x Hunter" on Crunchyroll

I've never been to the Dominican Republic. But I do know it has some rough areas. It would be wise to stay in the tourist parts of the DR.
As far as Monterrey, that megacity is a polluted cesspool with very poor gastronomy and high crime. Sure, the mountains are nice, but the pollution really ruins the views. It's also hot as balls there and not very walkable/pedestrian friendly. Personally, the only reason to visit Monterrey would be to go hiking, but the entire region surrounding Monterrey hasn't been safe for about two decades now.
Instead of going to Monterrey, I'd look into trying Guanajuato/San Miguel de Allende. Tolerable weather year round and tons of nice people. The tunnels and alleyways in Guanajuato are interesting and the arts & crafts in San Miguel are worth the visit. Lots of Americans and Canadians live in those towns, so the language barrier shouldn't be all that bad. The food is more Mexican than what us Texans are used to, but still super good. Just don't go south or west of Highway 45. And stay the frick away from Celaya/Salamanca/Irapuato. Neighboring city of Querétaro is ok for a day trip.

But seriously, if you're staying in a hotel near tourist attractions, it should be safe to take a stroll in the evenings. Places like plaza de constitución, Polanco, Chapultepec, and a few other areas are relatively safe in the evenings.
Outside of that...call it a day once the sun goes down.

Anime? ...oh boy
I've recently began rewatching Attack on Titans and it's as great as people said it is.
would be a must watch if you like anime or animation in general
