So I looked at polls for the gubernatorial (fancy word for governor) race and:
Abbot is leading by a +9.3 margin according to Real Clear Politics and a +8.5 margin by 538.
Polls -
Abbot: 52.8%
Beto: 43.5%
Other: 3.7%

Abbot: 51.4%
Beto: 42.9%
Other: 5.7%

Looking really good for Governor Abbott right now

Got to go to a wedding yesterday night and I liked the experience (actually, I liked the food more than anything else). They let me even take some of the desserts home.
Now I have a wedding hangover, I don't want to do anything, which is just perfect because I can watch TCU vs Kansas State on National TV while eating some cake. Seems like a win-win for me
