Damn well could have been 3-1 on the week. And probably should have. That loss Friday night was maddening.

2-2 is fine against that slate. The friday loss sucks, but that's baseball.

The Os are going to lose 100 games. Isn’t that bad enough? Now they sick Ole Benny on them.

I don't know how many times I heard, "Hey, Ben. You have a bit of history with these Aggies, right? Say from 1989?"

I swear the SOB paid off his partner to bring it up.

May this forever be known as "The Curse of the Orioles".

If we can win 4 of the remaining 6 series (assuming no sweeps) then finish mid weeks 3-1. That puts up at 38-16 (17-12-1) going into the SEC tourney. It should be just about good enough to host. It’ll be a struggle to get to that, but seems like a realistic goal for this team.

I'm pretty sure we will end up a two seed or so, probably in Austin. I'm personally okay with that, because this team has some serious flaws.

tu is going to have to make a big run to host. They're 21-13 and sitting in 6th place in the Big 12. Only TTU is in a decent position to host from the Big 12.

You really think they're going to have fewer than 20 losses when it comes time for selection?

As far as the Aggies, with the way Dox and Lacey are pitching, we are not going to get swept by anyone.

As long as we win the midweeks, and at least the South Carolina and Alabama series, that's 12 more wins, giving us 37 wins going into Hoover. (15 wins in conference)

Optimistic scenario, we win all the mid-week games, win at least two of the Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Arkansas series, win the South Carolina series, and sweep Alabama.

That would give us a record of 39-15-1 (17-11-1) going into Hoover.

Best-case scenario: Win all mid-week, sweep South Carolina and Alabama, win all of our home series, and win 1 game against Ole Miss in Oxford.

That gives us a record of 42-13-1 (20-9-1) going into Hoover.

So...who should start on Sunday? Saenz threw too many pitches but I think at some point we need to give him a shot on Sunday.

So maybe RC knows more than me

Aggies are rivaling the Astros in clutch hitting lately. But on the bright side, Chris Davis doesn't play for us.

Don’t look now but the Astros has 2 clutch come from behind wins the last couple days.

ha, I didn't even realize they pulled it out last night til you said that. Totally forgot to ever look at the score after the NC game.

Suck on that Yankees

(but for the record Tanaka was fricking filthy and is going to have a monster year if he keeps that up)

He’s kind of turned into a bit of a junk baller, but still very effective.

Saenz had a heckuva outing, didn't he?
Double, walk, walk (bases loaded), balk (run scores), walk (bases loaded again), grand slam.
