Players deserve to get called out. But the buck stops with him, so it shouldn't be an acceptable excuse in Year 8.

They should be tossed under the bus at this point. They clearly showed a half assed effort in the game and if they are doing it in practice I doubt many will be here next year regardless of who is the coach.

I don't know about you, but what I heard in the "mic'ed up" segment from Kennedy really made me want to run through a brick wall I was just SO MOTIVATED!!

I'm sorry but if you are on a scholarship and you come out like a sack of potatoes right after you got your arse beat the previous game it's not going to matter who your coach is. It's you that's the problem.

Again, most of these guys aren't going to be here next year if this is how they are going to go out and play. Whoever the coach is will not want them.

Also, since you seem to think BK's buyout is too much for Aggie brass to be willing to pay I'm not sure how you think we'd ever possibly be able to swing Mussleman. If he's willing to leave Nevada some other school will easily outbid us for his services.

We may as well beg Billy Gillispie back and hope his brush with death has cured him of his previous poor habits b/c we aren't going to be money whipping anyone any time soon.

At this point, I'm hoping for wins over LSU just to see the melt on the rant, but not confident in a win over any remaining opponent save MAYBE Georgia.

Fun fact: There's one team in the entire SEC with an overall below .500 record.

GUESS WHICH ONE IT IS?

I don't see any wins on the schedule. It has the look and feel of Watkins final days. Except we have less talent and stole a conference win.

What about the coach who still allows you to play when you’re clearly draggin arse?

If that were true, we wouldn't be having this conversation. If results are measured based on performance versus expected performance given roster talent, opponent, etc, then no, BK has not had better results, which is exactly the point others were making.

Why was there expectation? Why was there perceived talent on the roster? You're gonna hang the man based on his own positives?

i can confidently say with no hyperbole that the team we had last year was capable of winning a national championship

How? Tyler Davis was the only exceptional player we had. Robert Williams got drafted purely on potential, he was and is a very raw and limited player. Admon Gilder is a slightly above average sec shooting guard. Hogg was always bad, he was nothing more than an inflated recruiting rank based on what people hoped he could be.

Every player on the roster was extremely flawed or limited, except tyler davis.

There is apparently a "Buzz" about a potential replacement coach.

I personally doubt that happens, but would be extremely happy if so.

Buzz is not equal to Jimbo, but I do think that would be a Jimbo-like hire, in the fit is so good that it feels too good to be true.

Our athletic department & donor base has maybe the two biggest feathers in anyone's cap, with the Kyle Field renovation and hiring Jimbo. Any dept/donors would deserved to be praised for either and we did both. One after the other.

If we could off pull one last move, it would be extremely impressive.

Buzz would be a huge win. Our place in b-ball is several rungs below our football program. It’s fine. We’re not ever going to be UK, KU, UNC, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a solid program who makes an occasional run and stays constitantly good.

He got drafted on more than that. He’s playing real minutes for the Celtics, right now. But BK allowed him to Jack up 3’s. Over and over again. Remember? Too lazy to look it up, but would be interested to know how many 3’s he’s taken for Brad Stevens.

He shot 30 in two years at A&M, only 12 in year 2. Less than once every two games. It was hardly statistically significant.

Can't tank correctly?

Looks like the Aggies have regressed to their usual selves in the second half.
