It really didn’t go our way much in the Brian Kelly era but would y’all rather be looking forward to an entertaining matchup today or is it smarter to just get that 3rd out of conference W?

I would much rather play a decent game, however due to the 8-9 in conference games and the 12 team playoff, we're doing ourselves a disservice playing it. Take the easy week, get prepped for the tougher schedule. Now there's no reason to do it.

Get a win early. Gives your fans something to cheer for and gets you some momentum. We play enough tough games in conference.

Id rather a tough game. Playing cupcake teams is boring and not entertaining in the least. The LSU game is the only one worth turning on today.

The SEC going to 9 games made it clear that it did not value UGA playing a strong opening opponent.

I’d rather use the 1st game to iron out issues, clean up any sloppy play and test some schemes, get ready to seriously prep and learn from 1st game mistakes. I’m really looking forward to the AU/Baylor and LSU/CU games though.

I wouldn’t know what it’d be like to dodge having to play tough opponents like Notre Dame or Alabama so just wanted to give you a chance to comment.

I mean sure that’s the best way for a team to set themselves up. Still sucks for the fans though. No one wants to see a 54-3 snooze fest.

Alabama was supposed to play at West Virginia today. No faith in KD to win that game so they cancelled it and scheduled ECU.
