SEC teams playing these glorified high schools is just pathetic.
Nobody cares to watch an SEC caliber squad run up the score in a pointless game. Its like watching an NFL preseason game.
Kiffin used to whine when our fans would leave and go to the Grove at halftime while beating Presbyterian like a runaway slave. Its unwatchable and not entertaining. Simply an extra game and an automatic win on the schedule that nobody gives a f*ck about.

Write a letter to OM's athletic department and include a big enough check that they won't schedule powerhouses like Wofford anymore.

Playing an in state FCS is fine and good as long as one of the other OOC games is against P4.

LSU scheduled Clemson before we knew they sucked.
Bama scheduled Florida State before they knew they'd sucked.
With 9 games, tune ups are almost a necessity. Its a loophole for another bye week. Period

When you have a 9 game SEC schedule plus a P4 game OOC, you need a couple bullshite games like that. Especially given the strength, or lack thereof, of the other power conferences top to bottom. They don’t have to go through the grind we do in conference play.

This was way over the Athletic Department’s head and came down from the Governors office years ago.
LSU used to schedule out of state cupcake matches. Those 1/2 million games years ago drew the attention of our smaller schools who wanted a check without paying for hotels or flights.
So now we pretty much have to schedule an in state school every year.
It’s garbage
LSU won’t do a home and away with Tulane so I doubt we play them again.

Clemson aTm Ole Miss, Kentucky, Miss St, Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee.
So weird all the posts about it. We literally all do the same thing. LSU always schedules 1 strong out of conference then a couple of easy ones. Are you new to watching football?
