I’m normally a fan of going for 4th downs. But it’s hard to imagine them converting and they should just kick the FG.

The only time a blue blood would be knocked out of the playoffs for not passing the eye test is if there's a bigger blue blood (ND, OSU, Bama) below them that the committee wants to put in their place

Plus it's a game of offensive struggles so points are a premium. It's not like it's a game where neither side can stop the other from scoring TDs and it's going to come down to who scores last.
