What the orange clads refer to as "horns down" has evolved into a general usage sign that means whatever the person doing it is thinking in the moment and it likely is not your team/school/state.

It is an automatic reaction to knowing the camera is doing a close up and it doesn't matter which teams are on the field.

Heck, I would not be surprised to see fans at DKR doing it.

This is why it was so ridiculous a few years back when UT wanted it to be a penalty if opposing players were doing it backing down and going with taunting if it were done towards the saxet student section.

Anyway, long story short, get over yourself.
