Namely win a one score close game. Today’s game was the type of game we lost over and over and over last year.

Wasn’t pretty. And as Coach G said, we have a lot to work on. But I think this shows the program is taking steps in the right direction. There’s still a lot of steps to go to get Auburn back to what it was. But they’re moving in the right direction at least.

It’s a loss if DJ Lagway can throw a 6 yard pass accurately

Well, like I said, there’s many steps left to go.

A win is a win. I do wonder if Baylor has a decent D line or does Auburn have major issues at O line.

Auburn LB missed an easy pick earlier in the Baylor TD drive. That 2pt conversion should've never happened. Should've been Auburn ball on the Baylor 45.

I mean if you wanna get technical...

And Brown can't throw a 6 yard pass either..

Their D line is something media types have been pointing to all week as one of their biggest assets this season. They brought in some new guys, including an interior d-lineman who played significantly for Indiana last season.

Honestly I think it is a little of both. We are not good up front and they are pretty decent on the Dline.

but Darth is correct. We won a lot of these games with Gus. We lost almost all of them with Hugh and Harsin.

It is nice to win this one no matter how damn ugly it was. And it was very ugly

This is a 7 win team but who knows, we may just upset someone.

Look worse than last year against a team that did their best to give the game away with Milroe-ish QB?

Watched the end at a restaurant in Auburn - thought Baylor had that 2 pt play - great win today!

After watching the Auburn o line play today I take back every insult I used towards the Alabama o line last year. Those guys looked like a Saban o line compared to Auburn this year.

We were 1 point better than Baylor.

They had 6 and 35 who impressed me.

Brown threw more picks than DJ.

Y’all beat Baylor on the road last year by two scores. Look for silver linings if you like, but that was an ugly game from the tigers.

It amazes me how many college football fans still can’t grasp the concept that trying to compare last season’s game results to this season’s is virtually useless thanks to the transfer portal.
