Who ends up as the #1 overall player

Seems like a 5 player battle for the final #1 ranking this year. Rashan Gary is #1 right now and it looks likely he ends up at the #1 spot in the final rankings, but Greg Little, Dexter Lawrence, Shea Patterson, and Jacob Eason all appear to be within striking distance. Does anyone think any of these guys can overtake him with a big performance this weekend at the Army Bowl? Rankings love these two QBs so I would think if Eason or Patterson dominate at the Army game they might jump him in 1 of the rankings, but they would have to play really well. What does everyone else think?

These services are all too scared to put a QB at #1 so you can go ahead and eliminate them.

Gary or Lawrence would be my bet. DLineman are always a good bet.

Gary after that under armour performance.

Gary is the best prospect in the class.

Gary and it's not close. He dominated Greg Little when they've went head to head in the past.

As others have said, after Gary was basically a man amongst boys in every way possible at the UA game you can bank on him keeping his spot there.

Gary was a beast in a game featuring the best of the best. He will be a force as a true freshman, and that's saying something for a Dlineman.

Gary. Is he going to Ole Miss?

Highly doubtful after the way they treated his mother. It's either Michigan or LSU. Most likely Michigan

I agree that Gary is the best in the nation. I do think Lawrence could jump him in rivals with a big performance tho. clemson is getting a good one. It will be interesting to see how Gary and Lawrence compare in their frosh years to what Khalil Mckenzie and Trent Thompson did.

LSU isn't not a player in this and you know it.

quote:FWIW, it appears there has been some kind of shift in Gary's mother in the last 24 hours. Our Rivals mod is starting to hear that his mom prefers our staff to Michigan and she's coming around to having him playing so far from home. Both of our 247 mods CB'd him to us tonight (not that that means much). Again, TIFWIW, but I don't think the little incident in the grove was that big of a deal.

eta: Also, I can't verify but apparently Michigan mods are saying they believe Gary is going somewhere other than Ann Arbor.
