Apparently the rumor was on Rival's Mainboard was that Winston would decommit and declare Bama his leader pretty soon.

That would be a bit surprising at this point, but I guess it could happen. I know he's remained a focus for the staff and it has not gone unnoticed. He is still considering the Tide and still has some family pressure to make the switch and stay close to home.

I think he ultimately does make the switch, but I think it is closer to end of regular season.

No worries on that bruh. I like the opinions of others whose opinion/insights i respect...and I'm always long-winded, not just at night.

Winston will stick with Fsu imo. Bama hasn't stopped recruiting him and would like a commitment from him but it's appears they are satisfied with Morris and have turned their attention to 2013 guys like McCrary.

I'm more interested in what happens with Casher and Goldman.

Unless something has happened that IDK about, Winston is MLB bound IMO. Doesn't matter who he commits to.

Whats his draft status for the MLB draft? Will the money be too good to pass up if he is selected high you think?

Beniquez Brown will not be a part of the 2012 class, it seems. His finalists are now Tennessee, Florida, and Mississippi State.

I have seen him play a couple times season, and i have not been that impressed. Although i have seen him play running back, safety, and linebacker all in the same game he didnt look all that great

Brown waited too long and now no longer has a spot at Alabama. If he had pulled the trigger 3 months ago, we would have taken his commitment.

I know the depth scares guys but they should want to be a part of this well-oiled winning machine. Come to Alabama and wait your turn to reap the spoils of victory.

It's kind of surprising honestly. Generally speaking, kids don't care THAT much about a bad season. Evidently FSU sold them on coming to the FSU of the 90s though, and they obviously aren't that kind of program. Their schedule is a joke but they still might struggle to make a bowl game.

In fact, multiple sources told TideSports.com on Wednesday night that Alabama not only pulled even with Auburn in recent days, but may have actually taken the lead.

Yeldon would be nice, but I really hope Dixon goes ahead and commits soon. If we can sign him, get him in for the spring and get him up to speed on knowing the defense, he could be huge for us assuming Dre leaves, and that's a pretty safe assumption.
