Both of these freaks are most likely going to sec schools as Elias ricks is an LSU look and ringo most likely is going to Georgia. Which corner are you higher on. Imo ricks has better technique and ball skills but ringo is a better athlete and has better movement skills what do y’all think?

No idea but I don't expect Ricks to be on Stingley's level in year 1

It will be an interesting battle for CB spot opposite of Stingley between Ricks, Flott and Ward. Also if Raydarious Jones makes progress as well.

I think they're both 5*'s and elite. I also think this thread has a high probability of turning into an LSU and UGA pissing match.

Nah. Stingley is on a whole different level than either. That's good enough for me.

Way too early to say what Ricks is made of before hes on campus competing for playing time but it's a pretty easy guess to say that Flott will be starting across from Stingley next year. He's gotten lots of playing time as a true freshman and the coaches seem to really like him.

Stingley coming in and starting from game 1 is the exception to the rule. If Ricks abilities match the recruiting profile I'd guess hes brought along more like Flott than Stingley...back up role with a lot of situational playing time.

I don't think you can say that at all. It's not like Flott or Ward have been lights out this year, or even really that good, I mean for freshmen pretty good job but we have very high standards here. Flott has been picked on when he gets in the game at times.

Sharpe Sports (Youtube recruiting channel) did a video highlight comparison and his take was that Ricks was clearly better, at least in highlight clips.

With that said, I watched an ESPN HS broadcast that matched up Ricks at CB vs Marvin Harrison's kid at WR, and while Ricks won most of the match-ups, he lost a couple, enough to make me say "He's no Stingley."

Great conversation if it stays on topic.
My opinion, can't wrong with either. Based on where they are currently, Ricks' is better. Long term Ringo has more upside. Ricks' floor is higher and that's what I take. No guarantee that Ringo ever reaches Ricks' technical level.

Ringo is legit. Definitely the better athlete. Evaluators could put him ahead of Ricks and I wouldn't say a word. I'm not dogging on Ricks. Just saying that Ringo is super impressive. If his cover skills are really good, then I can see him being similar to Stingley and Patrick Peterson.

Idk. I'm glad LSU has Rick's though. I've seen him play a couple times and he and stingley next year at cb is going to be sick. We are going to be loaded.

Ringo is his final form will be around 6-3 220. They may slide him to free safety considering UGA has upperclassmen safeties.

Okay? So have ALL of our defensive backs in one game or another, Stingley included.

It's most of the time when Flott gets in, you cant say that about Stingley or Fulton at all. You can say that about Vincent no doubt.

Just saying it's not like Flott or Ward have played at some super high level to the point there's no chance they get beat out next season. They have the experience leg up but Ricks is still a more natural shut down guy, so it should be a good battle between them, and again, dont forget about Raydarious Jones.

Not so sure about that. Have you seen Ricks mom? You need to google her.

Dime to a dollar Flott moves to nickel when we go to five DBs or more. He is made to be a nickel CB.
